An Engagement in Paris

Rate this book
All Mandy Lachlan wanted was her own identity. All she had to do was run away to Paris to find it. Instead, she finds love, a baby, and a marriage proposal.

Julien Chevalier needs a family. Ever since his mother left when he was a kid, he's been searching for the security and consistency that comes with marriage and babies. So when he falls for the young African American professor at the Sorbonne, he knows immediately this is the woman for him.

Julien needs to get married the same way Mandy needs her freedom. When they find themselves at the impasse of matrimony, one of them will have to compromise what they want and need.

I am a Contemporary Erotic Romance author. I love words. I love reading and writing and languages. I'm also an avid traveler. I've been writing for more than a dozen years and I've written everything from haiku to novels. I live with my loving family, a mountain of books, and my invisible cat who loves to snuggle.

I hated it. This had the potential to be a great read, however it was not. This book was a great disappointment and I wasted my money. I was so a fan of all of the players and she ruined it. The ending could have went in so may directions and she picked the train wreck. It will take GOD's intervention for met to spend my hard earned money for another one of this authors books. I love interracial romance and this just... no words to describe....

This book was horrible! I hated Mandy! And why did the end of the book become about Layla and Tyler? It would have been nice to see Mandy and Julien really work on these issues. Mandy's character was just offensive to me as an African-American woman.
