Candidate event scheduled for St. Augustine art walk

At least 16 candidates for local office are expected to attend an event Friday at the St. Johns County Democratic Party headquarters on King Street.

The event, which will be held during First Friday Art Walk, is meant to give voters the opportunity to meet candidates.

Candidates for circuit judge, City of St. Augustine Commission, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners and the Anastasia Mosquito Control District board are among those expected to attend.

The event is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at 142B King St. in St. Augustine.
