Gainesville, GA - Following a weekend where Piedmont's
Danielle Percival served as a sideline reporter with ESPN, the Lions' Assistant Director of Athletic Communications has been asked to be Piedmont's second guest this fall on the radio show entitled "Game On" on WDUN radio out of Gainesville, Georgia. Percival made her ESPN debut Saturday night covering a Division I college football game in Mobile, Alabama with the replay of the game available now on ESPN3.
Earlier this fall, Lady Lion soccer coach
Stephen Andrew made the school's first appearance on the show which airs on the ESPN affiliate located just south of Demorest, Georgia. Andrew caused quite the stir with his interview as it came just days after Piedmont was announced as the favorite to win the USA South in the league's preseason poll (

Percival's appearance on the show comes following a weekend when she served as a sideline reporter with ESPN's broadcast of Georgia Southern vs. South Alabama. Newly added to the Office of Athletic Communications this summer, Percival will make another appearance for the Network working the sideline at ESPN's coverage of UL-Monroe and Troy, the same spot where Percival spent the last four years working for the Trojans' athletic news network.
Percival's appearance on the sports talk show will take place at approximately 7:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, September 22nd, and can be heard on the station's FM frequency at 102.9 or AM 550 as well as over the world wide web on WDUN.com.
