Any Way We Want

I couldn’t have picked two men more opposing than they. One dark-headed, slightly controlling, but intuitive. The other all unruly copper curls, somewhat bashful, but sensual. Yet, my fall for them felt the same—hard and fast.

I never slept around or cheated, but when you're the girl who got dumped for being too kinky--you realize and accept you are different. Somehow, some way, they had to be mine. My mind spun with what could be, and I set out to entice them with my fantasy.

Only, my plot had a twist…Royce and Shea were already lovers. Luckily for me, they liked to share.

Warning: Contains a headstrong daughter of nudist, hippy parents, an Alpha with seriously protective instincts, positive representations of Asperger's Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and oh yeah, M/M, M/M/M, M/M/F, and M/F/M.

If you’re looking for an erotic, sensual and kinky novella, look no further. Any Way They Want has lots of heat, kink, threesomes etc. But don’t let that full you. It’s not ‘just sex’. There is a great love story here. This love story just happens to involve three people instead of two.
Their love story was the most beautiful one she’d ever heard, and she thought the world, or their little corner of it anyway, should hear it.

This novella starts with the female in their little threesome wanting to do an interview. To share with the world (confidently of course) what it’s like to be in a loving and committed relationships with two people instead of just one.

But before any of that, there was Royce and Shea. Two best friends. College roommates. Confidantes. Then turned partners, lovers, soul mates.

“description"/

I have to say, this part of the story (close to half of the novella) was 5 star worthy material. Watching these boys maneuver their way from a friendship to a relationship was wonderful. Shea has questioned his sexuality for a while, but Royce, not so much. Royce has always been attracted to women. Shea is the exception to the rule for him. There is something about his best friend that just sparks that something in him.
He didn’t even compare the difference between kissing a man and a woman, because kissing Shea was like kissing love incarnate, and no one or nothing else had ever come close.

I loved Royce like crazy! And Shea was great too! Luna however was just okay for me. I feel like in time, when I get to know her, I might start to feel that connection with her.

“description"/

Sexy, erotic, and emotional. This was a great start to a series. The only issue I had with it is that I felt such a strong connection to Royce and Shea as a couple, the dynamic of the three of them didn’t give me the same connection. I’m sure with time, it will, but for now I have to say I enjoyed all the parts with Royce and Shea more than anything else. I did very much enjoy reading this and I’m looking forward to the second!

This was one incredibly steamy read. It was also my first menage book. I was hoping that this would center around the relationship between the three characters but this one seemed to mostly focus on the two male characters, which was one of my fears! I am not into the m/m genre and although I found some of the scenes to be really hot, it just wasn't my cuppa. What I did love was that Luna, the female character, had reservations about becoming the third for fear that she would always be the outsider and the one to be easily cast aside if things didn't work out. This was my fear too about the story.

We start off in the present. Royce, Luna, and Shea are in a committed relationship with each other. There is one extremely panty melting scene between them in the beginning and then we learn a little afterwards that they have been split apart by some magazine article that reveals their identities and their lifestyle.

Then the story shifts to the past where we learn how Royce and Shea first became a couple. It was hot but there was also such love and tenderness between these two men. Royce had only been with women and had never thought about actually being with a man till he met Shea. They were college roommates and good friends, but Royce developed feelings for Shea. One night will change everything for the two. Their relationship is almost perfect but they run into an issue and both decide to bring in a third person, strictly for sexual purposes. AND here I was thrown into reading my first m/m/m!!! OMG, I needed a hand to hold. I was not prepared!! LOL

After several more m/m scenes, and several more chapters later, Luna is finally introduced to the story. We learn how she becomes involved with Royce and Shea. They definitely seemed to love each other but I still got the feeling Royce and Shea loved each other a bit more than Luna. I would have liked the story to have focused more on the three of them, but since this is a series, I'm sure I will get what I want in the next book.

I think those who like m/m, will definitely enjoy this book. Even though I am not a fan of the genre, I will admit that I found the sexy time scenes to be extremely racy. I did like the main characters and want to see how it all ends up for them, so I will be continuing on with this series.

I like ménage books but more often than never, I find myself being disappointed with the cliché story of two guys and one girl having sex and more sex and very little else.

How pleasantly surprised I was with Any Way We Want: (Vol. 1: by Grey Cole

The author sure packed a lot into this rather short story…… Sexy, emotional, complex, erotic….
 photo sensual-mfm-threesome-pic-black-and-white_zpsmejxqzfc.jpg
I liked the story and the plot development was pretty good, although it’s more character driven than plot driven.

I liked the romance aspect …..which focused mostly on the two men, Royce & Shea.

They have been together in a relationship for a few years before Luna becomes part of their lives. In fact, the build up and chemistry between Royce and Shea was pretty amazing….much more than between the three. Luna just never seemed to have the deep connection the two men had with each other. I just didn’t feel that sizzle when she was with them……

My favorite character? Royce, without a doubt!!

So, I am totally hooked on these characters and can’t wait for the next installment…I mean..after that damn cliffhanger!!!! Really!!!!

If you like m/m and m/m/f stories….read this one. I can definitely recommend it. And I will certainly be reading more books from this author.

3.5-4 HOT Stars

This is the story of three people (m/m/f) in a committed relationship. Things begin with Royce’s POV and we immediately learn that things have fallen apart between the trio and he is going to work to fix them.

”And the people responsible for filling their world with turmoil and doubt…the would ruin them.”

I don’t want to get too into the actual plot, but provide more information on the dynamic of the trio.

Let’s back up and see how things started. Royce and Shea (m/m) were best friends in college. Shea thought he might be gay and dated a little while in college. After one disastrous date Royce consoles him. Royce isn’t attracted to men, just Shea. They go from friends to lovers, and even in this short installment I could feel their love for each other. The way Royce protected and looked out for Shea was so heartwarming.

Three years later, they are still together and have started a business. In search of a CFO, they interview and meet Luna. Luna is looking for a change after her boyfriend broke up with her for being too kinky. The guys are immediately attracted to her, but are more interested in her business skills. She becomes a part of their business and eventually the third int their trio.

I liked Luna, but didn’t feel her connection to the guys. Let me rephrase that, it didn’t seem like her relationship to them was as strong as the guy’s to each other.

Overall, this is hot little number and I am curious to see where things are going next. I do recommend if you like serial and these types of reads. (m/m/f)

Hello friend! So glad you could join me! Come in, have a seat! No! Don’t sit there! That seat is a little damp. Oh, that one is, too?? Sorry. *sheepish grin**
WHY are all my seats a bit damp, you ask? You can blame author Grey Cole and the first volume of her new erotic serial, Any Way We Want. This book is HOT with a capital “Damn this book is hot!”

Cole give us a steamy romance featuring all sorts of copulation, configurations, and conflagration, to the point where my Kindle actually gave up on me at one point. I was like, “Kellan The Kindle, are you getting too hot?” And Kellan was all, “Bitch, I might be!”

Moreover, Grey gives us a compelling love story. The story of Royce, Shea, and Luna is not to be missed. These characters are both alluring and thought-provoking, managing such issues as coming out, Asperger’s, and complicated romantic and sexual relationships. Yes, it’s erotic, but it’s not gratuitous. Beneath every encounter is palpable emotion and desire, raising things above just the physical.

I love how Grey paced this book. Blending together past, the present, and even a little snippet of the future, the exposition and character development are on point. We start out at the beginning of Royce & Shea’s relationship, and take that journey with them, and get to be a fly on the wall when Luna comes into their life.

While I’m usually not a big fan of serials, Grey Cole is doing this one right. We know exactly how many installments we’re getting (three), so we’re not left wondering how long this story is going to go on. Being the first part, of course, this isn’t their full story, but we’re left in just the right place. Satisfied, yet desperate for more…kind of like Luna!

Wow...what an amazing love story....there was not one thing that I didn't like about this story. As you read Any Way We Want, you know you are getting the back story of Royce, Shea, and Luna. I loved how we got the present time, then it flipped to the past, that kind of storytelling is always brilliant to me and really captivates me. To get how Royce and Shea fell in love was just really lovely. The love and respect these two have for each other is just so damn evident and clear and so very realistic. The addition to Luna to the mix and their reasons to adding a third was very eye opening and I loved how they were all on board for this menage relationship for their own reasons.

I have to make a mention that Grey Cole writes a very vivid picture of the way families handle the news when their children "come out of the closet". The support of one of the dads brought tears to my eyes as I hope in my heart that this is the reaction in real life more than that of the other dad. This for me was a very important part of the story as it really showed the character of the players in this story.

I can't wait until the next book....there was a fairly large cliffhanger, but you knew from the prologue it was coming, so no shocker but still.....I. Am. Ready!

Great Job Grey!

things change, for the good or the bad, the future is uncertain.
This was hot and steamy, but with more depravity and debauchery could have been great.
Although, I'm not 100% sold on the story layout. You meet them, have a steamy sex scene then jump a few years just to keep doing it again. Seems odd to me.

***claps hands*** Well done Grey Cole, well done. This book blew me away. Any Way We Want was an intensely erotica novella that had amazing chemistry amongst the characters and a unique story line. I’ll be honest; I’ve never read a M/M romance before but from the very first chapter this book had me hooked.

“All his life, he felt like he was simply existing, going with the ebb and flow, but never quite connecting. Always waiting for something big. And, as crazy as it seemed, Royce was his something big.”

Royce and Shea were college roommates and they had been best friends for the last 3 years. Their friendship was unlike anything else. They had a deep connection and were always open and honest with each other. Shea had been struggling with his sexuality for years but he was scared to truly explore that side of himself. Unbeknownst to Shea, Royce was struggling with his feelings for Shea.

“No matter what we do, who we play with, it will always come back to you and me. You are my world. And no matter who we let rock our world, we will never let anyone destroy our world. I promise.”

Royce and Shea decided to take their friendship to the next level. Their relationship was intense, passionate, and beyond sexy. I loved the relationship between the two. As much as they loved each other, there was something missing and they decided to bring in another partner to help fill the void.

When Luna comes into their lives, it completed them. They had other partners before but there was truly a chemistry and friendship with Luna. Luna, was smart, free spirited, and very sexual. We don’t know a lot about her yet, but she loved Royce and Shea immensely. When she convinces the trio to do an interview about their relationship, the repercussions of their decision, puts a fracture in the trio’s relationship.

With some erotic novellas the plot can be lacking in chemistry and connection but that was not the case here. I truly enjoyed the connection between the characters. Each character had their own set of quirks and issues and it added to the story dynamic. This book was very sexy and erotic. I blushed reading a scene or two because it was that intense but I loved it!!! Grey Cole wrote a great story and I cannot wait to see what happens next with these characters.

In Grey Cole’s new release Any Way We Want, readers are introduced to Royce, Shea, and Luna. We learn at the beginning of the novella that they are in a loving, committed three way relationship, but as the Prologue explains, one tell all article exposes their unconventional bond and fractures everything they worked so hard to obtain. But in order to understand how the threesome got to where the Prologue begins, Cole takes readers back to how their relationship first starts, and it’s definitely not how one would think.

Because this is only Volume one and the length of a novella, a lot of back story, setting up how everything began, needs to occur in order to move the story forward, and while that completely makes sense to me, it was a bit hard for me to connect with all three of the main characters, especially Luna in the short amount of time that we were given. Cole spends a lot of time on Royce and Shea’s friends to lovers’ relationship, which is explained and illustrated extremely well. It’s easy to see the connection between these two men and how intense their feelings are for one another. Both of their sexual preferences as well as their wants and needs are explained throughout the course of the text, shedding much needed light on everything readers need in order to understand the couple; Royce and Shea’s relationship spans over eight years, and Cole shows how strong their bond is from the very beginning.

Then there’s Luna – her addition to Royce and Shea’s relationship makes sense because they’ve always felt like they were missing something, and Cole depicts Luna as a woman who craves a bit more in the bedroom. But I’m not sure how I feel about Luna because I don’t feel like I know her that well, so I’m hoping that readers will get more of her back story in Volume two, which will help me connect with her and understand her motives a bit better.

Overall, I really enjoyed Any Way You Want; it’s an incredibly hot and steamy read, and my hope is that as Royce, Shea, and Luna’s story progresses, readers will feel more connected to the threesome and understand why they made/make the choices they do.

Any Way We Want brings us the first in this serial that introduces Luna, Royce and Shea the three parts to this MMF relationship.

The story begins with the news that something has torn apart this trifecta of perfection. Royce is left alone and trying to figure out how to get back what belonged to him. And in doing so we go backwards in time. To his discover of his love for his roommate, Shea and how they brought Luna into their relationship and turned something beautiful into something magical.

This was hot read. Although the start was a little slow for me personally, I found myself drawn in to the story completely by the time I hit the end. But then it ended. Just as I felt like I was getting to the meat of the story, I was turning to the final page. The downside being there is no part two out yet!

But I was hooked. So I might not jump to read part two immediately but this is a series that is going to be burning through once it is complete. Because if the ending of part one is anything to go off of, I know won’t be able to deal with another ending like that again!

If you like your m/m/f stories to be more emotional and not just about hot sex, check out this serial.

This is a novella and the first book in a serial.

In Any Way You Want, the author sets things up for what I'm sure will be a great series.

There's a bit of drama in this installment but mostly the author introduces the characters to us and we learn the circumstances behind them getting together. Some of the scenes were quite steamy.

Of course, as in all serials, we are left with lots of questions and I'm curious enough to want to continue the series. I had wished there wasn't so much background and more plot.

With all the warnings in the synopsis I had some expectations already before reading. I'm not sure if the warnings are necssary for this book. From the cover I understood I'd be reading a mé·nage. I was a little disappointed because of this.

I thought it was a solid debut story from Grey Cole.

Any Way We Want was a quick, hot read. The story goes back and forth between both present and past. I usually don't really like when books do that but I thought that it was the right choice for this book.

Royce, Shea, and Luna are all in a relationship. The book starts out at the present, and the trio may be falling apart over an interview they did about their relationship. From there, it goes back and forth through past events that lead up to that; when Royce and Shea got together, when they meet Luna, and when all three finally got together.

I really liked the characters and think they are good together. I can't wait to read the next one and see where they end up with their relationship. ~ Leah, 5 Stars

Holy Hotness Batman! Any Way We Want is the story of two male best friends, Shea and Royce, realizing they are in love with one another after years of friendship. Their love story is emotional, sexy, and HOT as hell!

“He guessed there was nothing normal about wanting to throw his best friend on the bed and shove his tongue down his throat.”

Realizing that something is missing they decide to add a third into their relationship.

“No matter what we do, who we play with, it will always come back to you and me. You are my world. And no matter who we let rock our world, we will never let anyone destroy our world.”

The third person varies for many years, and was both male and female, until Luna enters their lives.

Luna comes home after years in New York, where she was trying to hide her true self. She applies for a job as CFO in Shea and Royce’s security company. Both are immediately attracted to her, but since they want her to work for them, they don’t act on their attraction. Luna secretly lusts after them as well. After a drunk and horny night in the office, all bets are off. The three decide to embark into a relationship together and their chemistry is off the charts.

“I’ve spent countless nights imagining this. The two of you inside of me –“ Luna settled her gaze on Royce. –“ and you f*cking Shea while he’s buried in me. I can’t think of anything hotter.”

This story is told in both past and present views. We get to see the three of them together as well as how the two men met, and how Luna came to be part of their family. We are left with a major cliffy and I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen to their relationship now that their secret is out! ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

3.5 Sizzlin’ Stars!

The Review:
Wowza! This one was SCORCHING HAWT! This author knows how to write a steamy, jaw-dropping, panty melting threesome scene with smokin’ hot guys and totally make me wish I was the chick in the mix!

I’ve read M/M and M/F/M stories before and really enjoyed them so I was prepared for the content when I went into this read. What I really liked was how tastefully the author did the sex scenes. Sure they were wild and salacious but they were also well written. Not everyone can pull that off and Grey Cole did.

Alongside these yummy scenes was also a great story. I loved the past and present timelines and all the fantastic info we get. I felt an instant connection with Royce and Shea. Those two were sexy, smart and devoted. I enjoyed their back story and loved the connection they had with one another. I even liked Luna’s character to an extent but I never felt fully invested in Luna WITH Royce and Shea. And this is the rub. Whereas Royce and Shea’s love for each other shined through with an incredible story, Luna’s insertion into the mix felt mostly sexual. I know they were all committed and had found a happy place where the three of them could become one, but as a reader, I just never felt like Luna fully fit into the mix, which happened to also be one of her fears. And maybe rightly so. Maybe it was because Royce and Shea’s connection was so strong, maybe it was because Luna’s character wasn’t as prominent or fully developed.. whatever the reason, I just couldn’t get invested emotionally with the three of them “together”.

I’m hoping that in the next book, we get more of Luna and I’m hoping her place in the threesome will become more solidified. I’m definitely in for the second installment! If for nothing else than the sexy times, I’m totally there!

After reading the blurb for the story, I immediately wanted to dive right in. After finishing the book, I am left feeling a little conflicted. So this is one of those books where I am going to go with explaining a little about what worked and what didn't instead of rating it because I just can't seem to settle on a number.

I thought the writing was great in terms of flow, style, dialogue etc. The story opens with a prologue that is set at the end of the book; then you go back to the very beginning of their story when Royce and Shea met in college and work forward. There are plenty of SMOKIN scenes along the way and they range from M/M to M/M/M to M/M/F to pretty much anything you can come up with in terms of combinations. The history is well documented and set up.

For all of that, I just found that I didn't really connect with the characters in a way that made me invested in their outcome. I think where I stumbled a little bit at first was with Luna's preferences/ kink. She enjoys being humiliated/ used, crawling around on her hands and knees, etc. It is not something that I am really comfortable with or find myself wanting to read about and it was introduced in the very first chapter before the time rewind. Just to be clear, the author is very clear in portraying that this is something that works for the character in a trusting and loving relationship, and the guys accommodate her out of love and fulfilling her needs rather than out of cruelty or desire to truly demean her. And since Luna doesn't appear in their lives until almost the end of the book it shouldn't have mattered much- but yet it still bothered me so take it at face value I guess. Oh and just a small item of personal preference- I know most folks have a descriptive term that just bothers them and I found mine. The word "leaking" should never be used to describe any piece of the male anatomy- EVER! Eww- and moving on.

The story comes full circle by leaving off at the point where the prologue got us started- so to see the resolution of the issue we will have to wait for part 2 it seems!

★✩★✩★ 5+ DAMN It's HOTT in HERE -Stars
~this review may contain minor spoilers~

“There are things you could do for us that no other could. And the things that we could do for you... your wildest dreams come to life.”

Luna has always known her sexual appetites ran a bit out of the norm and she was okay with that ~ the problem is finding a man that was okay with it too; instead she keeps getting dumped for being 'too kinky'. When she first meets Royce & Shea, her new business partners, her fantasies start to take over imagining having them both... at the same time. When she realizes that they are in fact a committed couple, all her hopes are dashed thinking they could never want her as much as she wants them ~ I mean, they're gay, right? But much to her surprise they do want her and suddenly her wildest fantasies may just be coming true. But with their sexual escapades come deep and true feelings, feelings none of them can deny; but how would a relationship like theirs work and is she willing to risk their close bond enough to give it a try? And what happens when the outside world gets a peek at what most consider unconventional at the very least?

“I wish I could take you both up on your offer, but I just... can't.”
“You want us. We want you. Don't see the problem there.”
“Wanting the two of you is not the problem, Royce. You and Shea- are the sexiest men I've ever seen. I know it would be incredible.”
“That good and more. Again, don't see the issue, Luna darling.”
“You've been together for years. Why would you want me? Why would you want a third?”

This book took me completely by surprise, in a wickedly wonderful way. I was mostly just expecting a ton of crazy hott sex, which I got ~ boy did I ever, but Grey Cole also delivered sooo very much more. At it's core, this is a story about love- unconventional to be sure -but love all the same. We get the POV of all three main characters and some time jumping. We actually start off in the present, where they are already in an established relationship, and then flash back in time to where it all began; and by that I mean, Royce and Shea's budding relationship and the eventual addition of Luna being brought into the mix. We get to see first hand how Royce and Shea fell in love and the obstacles they faced being a gay, or bi, couple. We get to witness the soul searing love these two share and we come to understand why they would want to bring another into their relationship; they both had very real, very understandable reasons that in no way undermines the love they share with each other. With that being said, we also get to see the feelings they develop for Luna are just as real and so far beyond lust it will bring tears to your eyes. These three really are lucky to have found each other. I was slightly disappointed that I didn't get to spend a bit more time with the three of them in their relationship as the book mostly focuses on how it all began; but seeing as this is only book one in a series I know I will get my chance in future installments. But that ending left me with my heart in my throat begging for more. I just HAVE TO KNOW what happens next. Grey Cole has definitely secured her spot on my One-Click-Addiction List with this sexy-as-hell yet emotional work of art and I am left dying for more.

Luna's every sense was surrounded by their masculinity, with Royce at her back and Shea at her front. She suddenly felt very small and protected and treasured. Even though she was inexperienced, she knew she wanted this with every fiber of her being.

This was my thoughts before reading: I love the idea of this book, two bi men and one girl. Can I please take her place?!! Definitely a fantasy come true situation.

The story starts with the present. The three of them are in a polygamous relationship. There seems to maybe be a Dom/sub situation going on.

Then it takes us back to the beginning to how it all started with the men. They are best friends and college roommates. Royce has only ever been with girls. He considers himself straight. Shea has been with girls, but he has always been more attracted to guys. He thinks he's gay, but because of his father has never pursued anything with a man. During college he decides to give it a go. They have a very close friendship and start to have romantic feelings for each other. They eventually act on those feelings. The times when Royce and Shea are struggling to figure out themselves are the best part of the book in my opinion. It's the two of them against the world. So sweet and beautiful.
"Gay, straight, bi...why does there have to be a label? I wanted you. Want you. And you damn sure wanted the things I did for you."

Royce and Shea are together for several years, all through college and the business they start together. During this time, they have had a third man participate in their sex lives from time to time. The other isn't part of their relationship, but just something they enjoy together.
"No matter what we do, who we play with, it will always come back to you and me. You are my world."

After a time, they start a business partnership with a woman, who then becomes part of their romantic union. Unlike the previous times when they've had a third member, Luna is actually a full part of their lives. They live, work and sleep together. The duo becomes a trio.

The connection I felt with the story during Royce and Shea's beginning wasn't there for much of the rest of the story. The later felt more emotionally detached and mostly sexually based for me. I did like reading it, and I would like to see how things turn out for this threesome. If you are looking for sexy, fantasy fulfillment this is the story for you.

Holy Hotness… I just finished Any Way We Want by Grey Cole and I think am of dire need of a cigarette… and to go jump my husband because wow, wow, wow!!! My kindle was sizzling while I was reading the pages of this one! Ms Cole gives us a steamy novella series that will get you all hot and bothered and leaves you wanting more! Much more!!! I was immediately drawn into the unconventional love story of Shea, Royce, and Luna and I am now hooked. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series and see where the story plays out. The story is told in third person and gives us the story angle from each character. This is a novella series so the story is not complete. But to be honest, serial novellas are my new favorite thing! I love to be able to spend an hour or two reading a hot and steamy book that leaves me in limbo! I love it!!!!
We start off with Shea and Royce as college roommates, Shea is somewhat openly gay and Royce straight as they come. That all changed when one night Shea comes back to college after a visit home. He was outed to his family by his sister and they do not take it with open arms or understanding. Visibly upset, Royce is there to comfort him and in the process, lets Shea know he has secretly fanaticized about him. They both let their guards down and in return, a beautiful partnership is formed. To be honest M/M novels are not my forte but this was HOT!! Wow! The passion between them is off the charts and what started out as friendship blossoms into love.
“He didn’t even compare the difference between kissing a man and a women, because kissing Shea was like kissing love incarnate, and no one or nothing else had ever had ever come close.”
After being together for some time, Royce knew Shea was missing something as he was not comfortable being topped so they decided to bring others into their relationship. While interviewing Luna for a position with their company, they both knew she would fit into their relationship perfectly but the need to have them in their business plan was more important. So they would keep their fantasies under wraps for now… but one late night at the office, Luna hears them making love and is thrown into her own fantasy. She has always found them gorgeous and had her own dreams taking them both.
“If this is but a dream, leave me to my blissful slumber. Because here… two men love and workshop me like a goddess all the while fucking me like a whore. And I am one lucky girl.”
Royce and Shea invite Luna into their relationship and they each are able to bring something to their arrangement. They know it’s unconventional but it works for them.
“How is it that they had met the perfect woman to balance them out, and she didn’t attempt to change a single thing about them? IT was almost too good to be true, and what was too good to be true usually was.”
Our novella ends with on the eve of an article that is being published about their arrangement. What was supposed to be anonymous is about to be made public. What does this mean for their relationship? The questions it leaves has me chopping at the bits for the next novella!

A story of a threesome, two men who are in a relationship and have found the woman they want to be their third. Only problem is, she’s an employee of theirs. But it doesn’t take long for attractions to be made known, and for them to decide to cross over that line.

Luna is kinky. All of her past boyfriends have basically run away from her kinkiness, and so she’s tried to be someone she isn’t–for the sake of people accepting her, even if it isn’t the real her. But then she meets Shea and Royce, and all of her fantasies come rushing back. We don’t find out a whole lot about Luna in this volume. I am looking forward to finding out some back story on her, and what makes her the way she is.
Royce and Shea. The handsome twosome. We get to see a recap (a shortened version) of how they became to be. From best friends to lovers. From a man who thought he was straight, to him falling in love with his gay best friend. I could see Royce. I could feel his demanding power, his control, his possessiveness. He was very cut and dry. He knew what he wanted, who he loved, and damn everyone else for their thoughts or opinions. Shea, on the other hand, is more soft, more vulnerable. There wasn’t enough into his head, yet, but you get the perception that he’s very fragile, but yet tender.

As with any serial, I felt like I wanted more. It was short and sweet (and by sweet, I don’t mean, “awe!” I mean, not long). We only got to see certain scenes from their past to get a feel for Royce and Shea, and just a few in the present. I know it’s leading up to something big, something that will change who they are as individuals and who they are as a couple (is there another word for threesome similar to couple?). I wanted more depth into their pasts and maybe a little bit more of the future. I hope we see more of that in the future installments, because this story has the chance to go far. And since this is a book about a lot of sex, I would warn anyone that it is very erotic. And that with any threesome, it has instances of M/M/M, M/M, and M/M/F, and M/F/M. Oh, and cliffhanger, obviously.

Luna Rene is in an unconventional relationship; she’s involved with two men that not only were already lovers, but both of them love her as well. Royce is the slightly controlling (or dominant) one and Shea is the sensually shy one… the best of both worlds.

After agreeing to doing, what was supposed to be a discreet expose about their lives and the love they share, their polyamorous relationship becomes public. Fearing the backlash and that outsiders would now know intimate details about their personal lives, they are fighting to stay together.

“You’ve always felt like my soul’s equal. We match so perfectly…”

This book is definitely hot and steamy…dare I even say extremely skokie (Three Girls word for a SMOKIN’ HOT book). I liked how the past and present were used to tell Royce and Shea’s story. It was easy to fall in love with them as a couple before Luna even came into the picture. In fact, after feeling Royce and Shea’s connection so strongly and loving them together, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Luna joining them. But the friendship that was formed prior to anything else happening made me really root for the three of them and their relationship.

“She wanted to be owned. She wanted to be debauched and then she wanted to be loved.”

I’m not sure how I feel about the serial “short” novels that have become so popular, as of late. On the one hand you get the story much quicker than waiting for a full trilogy, but on the other hand the short serials sometimes feel rushed, like the author is trying to shove everything in. Plus the short serials together only make up one regular size novel, so authors could honestly just put out a full sized novel instead. But I will say, with Any Way We Want, it didn’t feel rushed or even that it was a partial story. I think the Grey Cole did a great job of making the reader feel a lot (for the characters, their connection, and just the overall story) in a short amount of time. I can’t wait to read the 2nd part in this story.

ANY WAY WE WANT is the first novella in the WANT serial series by Grey Cole. I thought this was a great start to what is sure to be a VERY steamy series. The prologue will certainly get you excited and curious with what is to come. It will spark many questions; some which will get answered, and some which will not. The author does a fantastic job of giving us just enough to keep us satisfied, but not too much where we will begin to lose interest. Introductions of all the characters are made, as well as, the back story of how everyone came to be acquainted. There is some angst, some drama, and some pretty sexy love scenes.

Royce and Shea, oh how you boys just melt my heart. I LOVED the connection that these two had. I love that it is new, fresh, and beautiful. There relationship is one to envy for sure! These best friends turned lovers will steal your heart with the intense emotions they share. I would say they are more than lovers, they are soul mates till the end.

We only got a small piece of when Luna came in to the picture, and THAT is the part that I’m most curious about. That and the fact that I think something real huge is about to go down! These three are in there little bubble where everything is rainbows and unicorns, but I think that is all about to change. Something tells me that this beautiful trio will face some major challenges up ahead, and I can’t wait to see how they overcome them, and how their relationship will become stronger because of those challenges.

Kudos to Grey Cole for giving us such a sexy, erotic, and emotional start to a serial that I can’t wait to devour!

Description ~

My Review ~

Any Way We Want is the debut short story in the Want series. As a first foray into a new series, it's a solid story with two male characters that will utterly suck you into their tale.

This story tops out around 100 pages and on a bit of a cliffhanger, so if you're not a cliffy kind of person, you may want to wait till the entire series is available. If it doesn't matter..well then prepare to fall for sweet, sexy Shea, and hot alpha Royce. They are two very distinct characters, which the author has well set up in this story. I actually really enjoyed their interaction and their relationship. Even when they brought in the casual partners or short term thirds to their relationship, I still liked them together as a couple.

And while I adored the men in this story, unfortunately I can't say the same for Luna. I'm not sure if I just didn't connect with her because she's not scene enough, or if it's just the bits of her I did see just didn't work. She also seemed to throw the dynamic off on Shea and Royce's relationship. Again I think it might be more of a just not enough of on screen time for her. I'm hoping in the next book there is more of the three of them working on the relationship but not quite to where we were at the end of this book.

This is a good solid first story with just a few little issues for this reader. I'd recommend it if you love a dominant, dirty talking Alpha and his sexy male partner.

Reviewed by Tracey Lou Parker for Kindle Friends Forever.

This was a short read for me so I will just dive straight into the review. The story starts us off following the aftermath of a situation which occurred to one of the main characters and leaves them utterly devastated. This book revolves around the lives of three protagonists. Royce Thornton, Shea, Shepherd and Luna Rene.

Royce Thornton and Shea Shepherd are best friends and room-mates. Shea is openly gay whilst Royce is a complete heterosexual, or is he? Royce has been fighting his inner demons over the fact that he is physically attracted to Shea but is unsure how to proceed. These feelings all come about when Shea goes out on his first date with a man. Shea has an unexpected encounter, and this provokes Royce into confessing how he feels about his friend whom it seems, had been harbouring the same feelings. This is the start of a blossoming romance between the two men. Over the next few years, they maintain a relationship which makes them both happy and sometimes involves the company of another man or a woman. Variety is the spice of life, is it not?

Luna Rene is a free spirit. She meets the couple when she applies for a job in their Internet security firm. Not only does she want the job, but she also wants her two employers. Again their feelings are mutual and this is truly the start of a happy and loving relationship between the three of them.

Without giving too much away, the ending of this book is where it begins. Confused? You won't be once you have read it.
I felt that the way the author portrayed the two men’s relationship as a couple totally in love with each other, perfectly fitting in this story. Introducing a third person into the equation, balanced it all out quite nicely. I gave this book a 3.5 star rating as I would have liked to have seen more pen on paper.

Ok... This book was full on... Shea & Royce were super hot and I was devouring everything about them. How they met and how they came together...& them just in a relationship.

I think my most favorite part in this book is the back story of how Shea and Royce became a couple.
Omg... Did I love it. And the first time they were together..... Oh boy... Let just say... My hubby was really happy!!...lol

Once Luna was introduced... I lost a little bit of steam. Probably because I was just so engrossed with with Shea & Royce. They were just so damn hot!
I mean... Don't get me wrong... Luna had her moments and They were all hot together... But Luna I felt needed more attention. I just didn't connect with her right away.

And it really didn't help that I felt that it was Luna's faults for the predicament they were in.
I mean Royce and Shea have been together for years. With no big problems. They were just being together... Living life.
Then Luna comes into the picture wanting the world to know about "their love" and how "happy she is" & how they live their life like every normal couple...living the way they live their lives.
Yes... I'm all for that.... But in an interview. A very public interview!!
That's just setting up for problems!

I know Shea & Royce needed a 3rd in the relationship...
But Luna should have been respectful of how they lived before her. And she should have taken that in to account... That they lived their lives with out drawing attention to themselves. Like a normal couple!

Im excited and nervous to see what book 2 in this series will bring.
I'm so hooked with these characters. I can't wait to read all the hot and steamy sex!!
This book leave off in a mini cliffhanger. But nothing to bad!

Would I read more books by this author.... Yes I would!
Would I recommend this book to people...yes I would!

We start of on Shea and Royce's journey in the present, Royce has been interviewed for a magazine about the relationship he shares with Shea and Luna, but will this be the end of their relationship as the whole world finds out about what they share?
We meet Shea and Royce they are best friends in college, Shea is gay but not openly to his family,Royce is straight until he starts falling for his friend.
Things take a change in direction one night after Shea comes home after a date gone wrong, Shea is confused about what went on as he was always certain his friend was straight but after talks they both realise they are meant to be together.
Shea's family discover his relationship with Royce and disown him, Roy Royce's father is the complete opposite he sees his son has found his soul mate and is happy.
One thing that threatens their relationship is they are lacking the balance as Royce will not be topped and from time to time Shea craves this so they discuss bringing someone into their relationship who will satisfy this role, this is when we get to meet Joshua a mutual friend, this soon runs it's course as he leaves after finishing his PhD.
Still needing the balance of a third party this is when we get to meet Luna, she applies for a job within their company and gets the job and after a witnessing a steamy encounter Shea and Royce proposition her, two becomes three they soon fall into a three way relationship but will this magazine exposure tear them apart?
This book is seriously hot I mean smoking hot, I have well and truly popped my M/M M/M/M and M/M/F cherry and I couldn't have chosen a better book to do it with.
This book isn't just filled with meaningless sex it shows a beautiful relationship between all three but mainly between Shea and Royce, I loved every part of the book from finish to end and can't wait for the next installment.

This book told so much story in just over 100 pages! Grey Cole really did a great job kicking off her debut series. Any Way We Want was a very HOT book, but it was more than that. Grey Cole took this idea of M/M and M/M/F and really gave it heart. The connection between Royce and Shea was emotionally charged and really pulled at my heart strings and I can't wait to dig in and really get a sense of Luna, Royce and Shea together.

Grey Cole has created a great characters, I was completely enthralled with Royce and Shea and how their relationship evolved from best friends to more. The story itself is very intriguing and I really enjoyed reading Any Way We Want except for one issue I had: the layout of the story. I did not care for the way the story unfolded, it jumped from future, present, past then present again. I think with a part one of a series I really didn't need that much back and forth with the time (or background). While I did enjoy this part of the series and I am glad I got the background on Royce and Shea, it really made adding Luna feel like an afterthought and then the first part was over just when I wanted more time. I needed more story in the present towards the end of the book to help me understand the prologue (but that is the way serials tend to go; they tease).

Since this is going to be a three-part serial I knew I would be left with questions and I am left needing answers and wanting more. I am very anxious to read what comes next! Any Way We Want is a great beginning to what could be a fantastic series. If you are looking for something to heat up your nights this Holiday season, 1-click Any Way We Want and enjoy!
