My son started the free sessions two days ago. usually he would loose interest very quickly, but Mathsfactor has really encouraged him because It's explained in little chunks & he gets rewarded with certificates & he gets higher in the levels and he loves that. He comes to me now tells me he wants to do learning on maths factor which is fantastic. I haven't found any educational websites that has been so encouraging as this one. I like this as a parent because parents are given resources to work alongside what they have been learning and this makes such a difference. The communication through email and the parents log in is brilliant. Thank you Carol you are really making a difference to our children's learning.
My daughter has gone, in 1 year of maths factor, from the middle of the class to the top.
In her latest mock SATSs she got top of the class in maths - the school couldn’t believe it and her progress in a year, for this she received the schools star of the week for great confidence and improvement in maths.
My daughter is also 31st of August child so is the youngest child in her year.
She has completed 10 medals of the 30 day challenges and she only does 1 session a day (about 10 minutes) no more really !!!
My daughter, Hazel, had a no homework policy at her school, including mathematics - which unfortunately didn't suit Hazel, she was struggling to even work out 1 from 10 - and then we found you at The Maths Factor. You genuinely saved the day for us as a family and made Hazel love Maths.
Hazel has loved the fast pace and challenge of her maths work. The algebra course was a huge help to Hazel as she started secondary school and formed the foundation of her skills for the Maths GCSE and Further Maths Level 1/2 qualification.
so....THE PROOF OF THE PUDDING.... she obtained GCSE grade 8s in six of her Maths/Science subjects plus grade A in Further Mathematics, and it is our firm belief it is from using The Maths Factor at an early age with Hazel which made all the difference.

After 3 days my 7 year old daughter now knows her 9 times tables! Amazing!
I just wanted to send a quick message of thanks. In January this year my 7 year old daughter struggled with even adding 1 onto a number. She's now smashing her 6 times tables and ready to move onto her 9's. I can't thank you enough. She is now confident with maths where as it used to be her worst nightmare.
Many thanks for providing this excellent tool that has enabled Freya to achieve progress in her maths and achieving expected standard in her SATS test. According to her year 6 school report she has made better than expected progress and I can put this down to the short regular practice sessions using Maths Factor. I highly recommend this product to boost confidence and performance in maths and we have certainly seen positive results from it.
My son has just completed the 30 day challenge. I’m amazed at how much progress he has made in a short space of time. He isn’t a fan of maths and finds it hard but with encouragement from myself and watching Carols tutorials his confidence and knowledge is growing by the day. We will continue to use maths factor every week. I think it’s amazing!
I can not recommend Maths Factor highly enough, my maths-phobic child literally transformed before my eyes in to a confident & empowered mathematician! She is currently coasting through KS3 with her new confidence and stable foundation that Carol has taught her. I also think that the customer service has been second to none, absolutely superb.
My daughter really loves using this site! The 30 day challenge has her so motivated! I like that she has been able to go back and redo modules where she wanted to improve her score from last time. We teach her at home, so I really like receiving emails with her score, each time she has completed a module, as it helps me to keep tabs on her levels of understanding and the areas where we need to give her more help.
My son has been doing Maths Factor since he was about 6, he is now 10 and getting close to the end. I think it is a fantastic teaching resource. Everything is very well explained by Carol in an easy to understand way. He knows his times tables back to front.
I wish that there was a program that would continue on after this and take them on to GCSEs.
He did the 30 day challenges and got all the medals and the trophies. This was a really great incentive and he is very proud of them.
