Taco Bell's New Cap'n Crunch Delights Are Portable Balls of Deep Fried Cereal

The stunt food sorcerers over at Taco Bell are at it again: This time they turned a bowl of cereal into a stoner's dream. According to Nation's Restaurant News, the chain is testing a new breakfast item (that will be available all day) called Cap'n Crunch Delights. The deep-fried cereal balls are meant to evoke "sugary childhood memories of Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries cereal."

The doughnut hole-like item is a shade of (very unnaturally bright) pink and comes stuffed with a "sweet cereal milk" icing and rolled in crushed Cap'n Crunch cereal. The breakfast item/dessert/sugar bomb is currently only available at Taco Bell locations in Bakersfield, Calif. but it could possibly hit stores nationwide in the near future.

Taco Bell loves a good food mash-up: In recent months, the chain launched Cinnabon-flavored coffee, a Sriracha-quesadilla-burrito hybrid, a Starburst slurpee, waffle tacos, and possibly one day, tacos with a Fritos shell. The world can only dream.
