FLUSHING, N.Y. (Oct. 19, 2014) – Roberts Wesleyan fell on the road at Queens, 1-0, this afternoon.
The lone goal of the game came in the 53
rd minute when Bridget Gleason sent her shot to the back of the net off a corner kick from Courtney LoCurcio.
Both teams were unable to muster much offense as both goalkeepers recorded three saves each.
For Roberts Wesleyan,
Ellie Swan,
Bella Mitrevski, and
Jackie Corbett each put one shot on frame as Swan led with five total shots in the game.
The loss puts the Redhawks at 7-8-0 overall and 2-5-0 in East Coast Conference play.
Roberts Wesleyan has three more games in the regular season, all of which are at home. Their final non-conference game is this Saturday when they entertain Malone (Ohio) at 3pm.
