Remember the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies? Some were straight to video, like The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley series and the You're Invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's Party series, while others were major movie theater affairs (hi, Billboard Dad). While you might remember obsessing over Mary-Kate's highlights or Ashley's perfect wardrobe, you probably forgot these celebrity appearances.
1. Eric McCormack
Before he starred as Will in Will and Grace, he played the Olsen twins' dad in their Halloween-themed movie Double, Double, Toil and Trouble (1993).
2. Elizabeth Olsen
Mary-Kate and Ashley's younger sister Elizabeth appeared in several of their early movies, including this cute cameo in How the West Was Fun (1994). After a stint at NYU, the younger Olsen has a major career of her own, including Martha Marcy May Marlene.
3. Jane Sibbett
Yep, Ross Geller's lesbian ex-wife Carol almost married Ashley Olsen's father in It Takes Two (1995). The '90s were great.
4. Troian Bellisario
Troian (above right) and the Olsen twins were childhood friends, which could explain how she got a role in Billboard Dad (1998). She was clearly talented, though, because 12 years later, she landed a starring role in Pretty Little Liars.
5. Michael Cera
Here's little Michael Cera starring in Switching Goals (1999), proving that he's been typecast since day one.
6. Willie Garson
Garson — aka Carrie Bradshaw's gay best friend Stanford Blatch — was probably thrown into Our Lips Are Sealed (2000) to appease all the moms taking their kids to see this movie. (Fifteen years later, it stands the test of time: This is the very best Mary-Kate & Ashley movie out there.)
7. Marguerite MacIntyre
Another fun casting tidbit from Our Lips Are Sealed: MacIntyre, who plays the twins' mom, later went on to play tough-as-nails Sheriff Forbes on Vampire Diaries (RIP).
8. Jesse Spencer
If you feel like you've had a massive crush on Jesse Spencer foreeeeever, well, it's because you probably have. He started stealing hearts here in Winning London (2001), then went on to star in House and Chicago Fire.
9. Austin Nichols
Before heading to One Tree Hill — the series where basically all hot actors eventually ended up — he played a frequently shirtless love interest in Holiday in the Sun (2001).
10. Megan Fox
If you're LOLing at this photo of Megan Fox playing the mean girl in Holiday in the Sun (2001), you're not alone. She later went on to star in the Transformers series and Jennifer's Body.
11. Jared Padalecki
After capturing hearts on Gilmore Girls, beautiful human Jared Padalecki played a love interest in New York Minute (2004) — and caused an entire generation of Millennial women who moved to New York to feel disappointed that their dating prospects don't measure up to the expectations Jared set a decade ago.
12. Bob Saget
Life comes full circle: Mary-Kate and Ashley's first role was on Full House, helmed by Bob Saget. For their final on-screen appearance in New York Minute, Saget came back for a brief cameo.
