Position Summary

The University of Nebraska Omaha and the College of Information Science and Technology invites applicants to apply for the tenure track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will be commensurate with rank but will include a minimum of 2+2 course teaching load per academic year, research and service appropriate for rank. As part of an effort to build big data analytics capacity.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess an appropriate doctorate in Information Systems (IS), Computer Science (CS), or a related field from a nationally-recognized program before being hired. The College is seeking candidates with strong research and teaching ability related to big data systems and analytics. Contributions to service within the university, business and/or professional areas are expected
