CREDIT CARDS All major credit cards are accepted through the PayPal payment engine on this website, so have your credit card handy at checkout. Choose the “Pay with PayPal” option for all credit card payments. A PAYPAL ACCOUNT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION.
CHECKS You may register through this website and pay by check, payable to "SCCP". Checks must be mailed in advance or dropped off at GTA offices prior to the event. Mail checks to: Georgia Technology Authority, c/o Mark Latham, 47 Trinity Ave, Atlanta, GA 30334.
A $40 fee will be incurred for any check returned for insufficient funds.
All proceeds from this family-oriented event benefit the State Charitable Contributions Program (SCCP), which provides support for hundreds of Georgia charitable organizations each year -- organizations which are providing services right here in our own communities. Thanks to all the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) employees and friends who came out for our annual Charitable Contributions Fun Walk/Run in Grant Park on October 29th! It was a big success!

Virtual Race Option
Couldn't join us in Grant Park to run the race in person? Well, you're in luck! You can still participate by registering for the 5K Run/Walk Virtual Race. It's a new option that allows you, your friends and family to participate in the race from wherever you are.
So...what IS a Virtual Race? It's a race that is run at your own convenience and in the location of your choice...indoors on a treadmill OR outdoors anywhere!
You can walk it, run it, or complete the miles by walking AND running. You can do it with your friends and family. Turn it into a party on the pavement! You can split the miles up over days OR complete the miles all at the same time.
It's your choice - just get moving! It's easy to register by sImply clicking the "Register Now!" button to sign up. Once you register, you'll get instructions on how to complete the virtual race. Then simply finish and submit your miles by December 31, 2014. You can still have a great race experience and--most importantly--donate to some very deserving charities.
The registration fee is only $12 per person.

Couch to 5K
Get active! State employees can earn Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) dollars by training and participating in the GTA 5K Fun Run/Walk. No matter your fitness level, you CAN participate! Register today and we'll send you information about the "Couch to 5K" program that will help you get started towards your goal.
