Filthy Foreign Exchange

Rate this book
New York Times bestselling authors Angela Graham and S.E. Hall have teamed up again to bring you a full-length, steamy new romance.
Echo Kelly is loyal to her studies, family, and aerial artistry. She has no time for or interest in anything else, and is heartbroken when her oldest brother, Sebastian, gets accepted to a study-abroad program— exchanging places with cocky, not-at-all-shy foreign exchange student Kingston Hawthorne.
Kingston Hawthorne had the life every twenty-year-old guy dreams of— endless cash, easy women, and fast cars— until his father ripped it all away, shipping him off to the States and placing him temptingly close to the underage virgin who fascinates him in the most challenging of ways.
With Kingston’s bedroom just a connecting bathroom away from Echo’s, the chemistry between them is even more enticing than the notes he leaves for her on the shower door.

Filthy Foreign Exchange by SE Hall & Angela Graham
4.5 stars!!

“What makes resisting temptation difficult for most is they don’t want to discourage it completely.”

Filthy Foreign Exchange is a YA/NA contemporary romance that is the first in a duet with the second book scheduled for a June 14th release.

This was one of those books that I just dived into blind and was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the foreign exchange student was none other than a Brit and a Brit that I adored from the start.

Kingston comes from a wealthy family in the UK and has been sent to the US on a foreign exchange programme to try to reign in the wild child. However, for me, he was perfectly normal, he just didn’t live up to the expectations of his father who expected nothing less than perfection. He was just a normal man enjoying his life as most others do with a few flutters with the law because of his love of fast cars. Kingston was twenty years old, he was charming with a capital “C,” and he knew it. He was sexy, had that adorable English accent that everyone loves, but underneath he had a heart of gold. He was supposed to live in the dorms but his accommodation was not in place, so he ends up living with Echo and her family.

“Not all those who wander are lost.”

Echo was distraught, she had lost her best friend, her brother, Sebastian, to the foreign exchange programme for a whole year. He was the only one she confided in and he held a lot of her secrets, Echo was lost without him. Echo was an eighteen-year-old girl that didn’t want to be noticed, she was fairly shy when it came to other girls and definitely guys. However, when Echo takes to the aerial ribbons, the real Echo flourishes. Echo is extremely talented, expressive and confident in the air and it is here where she really shines. Her family are all in the business so it is in her blood and with the equipment always at her disposal she spends all her free time training.

“There was something in her movements that made you think she never walked but always danced.”

Kingston had been warned away from Echo, with the threat of bodily harm from her father, but who would have guessed that interconnecting bathrooms could be the key to a blossoming friendship…

“He’s not the type of guy to get your feet wet with, or you’re sure to drown on your first swim.”

I loved the banter between these two, from the initial I hate you to a beautiful friendship that definitely has the potential to go further. Echo opens up the real Kingston and vice versa and when these two are on their own their true characters come through. It was fantastic to see Echo a little more confident and a little more daring and while she still has her insecurities, Kingston is the man to show her she has nothing to worry about. Kingston brought out her eighteen-year-old self.

“You’re magnificent, Echo – a rare flawless treasure, Don’t waste such exception on any man who doesn’t realize your value.”

Echo had a majorly positive effect on Kingston, she made Kingston assess his past, his present and his future and just by her demeanour and positive outlook on life made Kingston want to be a better person. Together, these two just fit, but does it have longevity when Kingston has to return to the UK?

“Kingston giveth, Kingston taketh away. Masochist.”

This was a fun, flirty read with some fantastic dialogue and some great humour interspersed throughout. From Echo’s parents to the main characters themselves I had many a laugh out loud moment while still swooning with the blossoming relationship between Echo and Kingston. I cannot wait to see what happens to these two going forward…May cannot come soon enough.

What in the ever lovin heck is going on. I was just beginning to like Kingston and Echo (will we ever get an explanation of her name) and then BAM cliffy. Lots of sexual tension but the deed wasn't done. She is in high school and him a college boy, so that was okay.

But why did there have to be a cliffy and the next book is under 200 pages and cost $2.99....guess I'll be living with a cliffy hanging over my head for awhile.

Warning: this is not a full standalone novel, it is just book one (of 2?) and does not give you resolution at the end, but more of a cliffhanger. Nowhere is this indicated in the book description or in the title listing, and that annoys me because it feels misleading. Aside from that pesky unfinished ending, it is a decent new adult romance that feels closer to YA due to the immaturity of multiple characters (Kingston, the supposed delinquent was by far the most mature and stable one here.) It started off a bit shaky, but definitely hit a groove around the hallway mark. I am invested enough to want to read book two, but I feel like they should have been combined into one longer novel. 2.5/5 stars

4-SMASHING-Stars!

I was left gobsmacked by this book!

Echo Kelly is a straitlaced student and not interested in the usual high school activities e.g. drama or trouble. She busies herself in aerial artistry which her family is known for in their town.

Her brother, Sebastian, was accepted in a study-abroad program in London, in exchange of another student. The exchange student is Kingston Hawthorne. If the name and the looks are not dreamy enough for you, wait until he speaks. In an attempt to make him change, his father arranged an exchange student program. Kingston was carted off to Kelly Springs. This guy took the town in a bang, kissing the hands of the giggly teens, mesmerizing them with his accent and puzzling them with his unusual phrases.

So, with an easy banter, morning messages written in the bathroom mirror, and with the protectiveness that could rival her brother's, they formed a bond.

For Echo, she doesn't need the attention that Kingston brings in her life. But she is finding it hard to resist the charms of this sexy Brit.

He gives me a devilish yet friendly smile, beckoning me to come all the way out with a crook of his finger.

Lord, have mercy. That single gesture has my mind zig-zagging between right and wrong, shy and emboldened—all fragmenting until the pieces swirl together in one big, hazy circle.

Yes, it is a cross between YA and NA! I love the swirling tension (yes, sexual) between the two. Seriously, what is with this sexy Brits and their accents? (That's it, sexiness and accents.) I don't mind that every time I read a British phrase, I came running to search for its meaning. I just felt like I need to know more about Kingston... which I will expect in the next book (bummer right?). It has a cliffhanger ending, which I really didn't expect at all.

He ignores them both, his hand coming into view right as a single finger lifts my chin, forcing me to look at him once again. “You have my full attention now, so…hello, Love.”

I swallow, unable to grasp exactly what the pounding in my every vein means.

Hello, I manage to mouth.

There is a little twist near the end and may have something to do Sebastian. Ooh, I want to read more of him! The bond between him and Echo is something that made me want to have my own big brother. I actually love Echo's family, from her strict father to her fierce mother (you'll find out later in the book) and Echo's cute little brother.

I mentioned before the swirling tension because we didn't get that much action (ehem) from this book. It was building and building though. It makes the second book more exciting, methinks. They still get a lot of sweet moments, so you don't have to worry. Now, I'll just sit and brush up on my British slang while waiting for the next book.

Note: This ARC was provided by TRSoR Promotions in exchange for an honest review.

Echo Kelly is a high school senior with a passion for aerial performance art. When she's faced with prospect of having hot but smug Brit and foreign exchange student Kingston Hawthorne one room away from her, little does she realize that it'll be the start of a snark-filled friendship that leads to something more. I really liked the dynamic within their relationship, which had equal parts sarcasm and swoon. There's a lot more to both Echo and Kingston than meets the eye, though Kingston is more of a mystery, and hopefully, we'll get to know more about him in the conclusion of their story, due for release this June.

This book is a study in emotional and sexual tension, building upon every layer of anticipation it throws your way. It's clear that these two are more than drawn to each other and had this been a real life situation, I would have told them to get a move on and get on with it already. But I think that this does its job of leaving you wanting more, and with a sequel waiting in the wings, I totally get why. This was my first read from either author, and it didn't disappoint. I'm going to try and be patient while waiting for the second book, and my fingers are crossed that Kingston and Echo will make this worth the wait. Four stars. ♥

I feel bad with how I'm going to rate this but....I liked the story honestly. But also feel it was a waste of time. Please don't call something filthy when the worst thing that happens is a quick kiss. The summary tells you more about Kensington then the actual story does. As well as this story leaves you with far more questions then answers which is a no go for me. I just truly feel this should've been released with the second book as one, if that one ends up being good that is. This was possibly the biggest tease of a "romance" I have ever read.

Didn't think I'd enjoy Filthy Foreign Exchange as much as I did. And now, I can't wait to get my hands on the second installment. Gah. Can't it come any sooner? I'm dying to read more of Kingston and Echo.

Also, can I just say that I love their steamy-mirror love notes! It's just so...steamy. Pun intended.

Oozing in swoon over here!

4 stars for this!
"I miss the quickly blooming friendship that felt effortless. I miss the way we were when no one was looking: a fun duel of flirty wit. I miss our texts. I even miss the touch of his lips on mine—our sole kiss that caused this great divide. And I especially, to the point of actual physical pain in my chest, miss my shower notes."

SO, my first read by both these authors and I was ridiculously impressed with their styles and voices!

OMG the laughter .... I can't even explain! Echo and Kingston had an instant chemistry/connection. Their personalities set this story on fire. It made it flirty and sexy, heartwarming and easy to read but also a little on the suspenseful (in a more anticipatory way) side because you just did not know when their ridiculous banter would explode and they would jump each other like rabbits (if you feel me LOLOLOL)

Seriously, great fun this book was ... phenomenally great. The age group is normally not my cup of tea, but the titlesucked me in, and if you know me at all sometimes I challenge myself to read books with over the top titles or covers just for giggles! lol And this book was a winner because I now have two more authors I can turn to get my reading fix from #WIN!

NOTE: This is not the end of the story. You are left satisfied, but the conclusion of their journey will come at sometime this summer, so stay tuned ... :)

Not bad. I know this book is listed as New Adult but in my opinion, based on this book alone (this is the first book in the series) I would put it in between the Young Adult and New Adult category. It's a very cute read. Yeah I know I use the word 'cute' a lot in my reviews but I don't how to describe this book with any other word but cute.

Kingston and Echo have a lot of chemistry together. I liked their friendship, their funny banter. I loved the fact that they didn't fall into a relationship so quickly and connected through a friendship first.

I hated the so much. I can't wait to read the next book!

FILTHY FOREIGN EXCHANGE is a steamy duet romance series about two people from different countries force to live together all because of a study-abroad program. Although when the houseguest becomes more than his application implies, unexpected emotions leads to many messages in the bathroom!

I choke on my juice and immediately bow my head for what seemed like the umpteenth time this morning to hide my disbelief. Kingston’s no more suited to be a priest than I am showgirl; of that much, I’m ready sure. That was no “man of the cloth” in the-making holding me captive against his bare chest…”

"You're magnificent, Echo-a rare, flawless treasure. Don't waste such an exception on any man who doesn't realize your value."

Was this a 5 star book for me? Well, considering that I picked it up at 7:30pm for a bit of light reading before bed, just an hour or so, and here I am at 11pm writing a review, I am going to say Hell to the yes.

First of all, I'm not sure how I got so lucky as to read two hilarious books nearly back to back, but this one was so funny. I love good snark. Almost any of these authors nowadays can write a pretty standard sex scene and there are a few that can realllly get your heart racing. BUT, that snark? All that sarcasm and wit? That can only come from a really good writer OR someone who actually is sarcastic. I hope one of them is because I speak in pure sarcasm and I lurve it. This book has it in spades.

So we have Echo, who is a really sarcastic senior in high school, but she is also a genuinely good person. She's really loyal and a great daughter, although she bends the rules a few times. She keeps her circle tight and is really shy at school because of this. Her family is really well known because they have a type of circus act they put on every other Sunday. Her role is a trapeze and aerial ribbon dancer. Like one of these:

Her best friend and brother has decided to be a foreign exchange student and swap places with none other than Kingston. Now, from the start, HE tells his host family that he has had some brushes with the law and his father has sent him here in hopes that it will straighten him out. He's 20, he's in college, and Echo and him decide to become friendly. Her father puts down the LAW that there is no funny business between the two of them, as they share a Jack and Jill bathroom.

He would leave messages for her on the mirror, so when she would take a shower, they would appear. They could be cute and silly. Or they could be deep and meaningful.

"There was something in her movements that made you think she never walked but always danced."

Kingston was definitely swoon worthy.

She would rate the girls she saw him with, either with her fingers or in text form. That was hilarious.

Their dialogue was flirty and funny. I always loved it.

OH! Let me say one more thing! All that English jargon...I had to urban dictionary some of it! "On the pull" trying to have sex with someone...like "on the prowl". I may have saved you some time.

Read this book! It's fast and flirty, but just a warning-It ends in a cliffhanger!

What happens when a sexy British foreign exchange student comes to live with Echo and her family for the year? A whole bunch of sexiness, shenanigans, and heartbreak, that’s what!

Echo is destroyed when her best friend and brother, Sebastian, decides to go overseas for a year of school, and her family is hosting another student. Her plan? Ignore him, until he gets to his dorm room and continue to practice her routines in the pavilion instead. When she finds out that Kingston will be living with them instead, and just how sexy he is, she is baffled and not sure how to handle herself.

Echo is a smart, determined girl, who really isn’t very social. She hangs out with her best friend Savannah, Sebastians friend Clay and that’s about it. Having Kingston entering her life, she starts to push herself a little out of her bubble, and even though I wasn’t sure about her character to begin with, I loved watching her evolve throughout this book and become more adventurous, outgoing, and just plain hilarious. She learned to stick up for herself, started to do things outside of her comfort zone, and started to live a little.

Kingston is a playboy, he’s sneaky, funny, and has the entire town of Kelly Springs falling for him and following him wherever he goes. You can see he’s trouble, but the way he acts with Echo is remarkable. He has this bad boy side, but you can see with his little notes to Echo, how he goes out of his way to help her, etc. how good of a person he really is.

Things are quite confusing between Kingston and Echo throughout most of this book. Echo hates him, then they become friends, and then she starts to fall for him, for him to turn her down. Watching her go through all of these emotions was heartbreaking, yet amazing because it was her starting to live and grow. I was rooting for these two throughout the entire book, and now I’m waiting till the end of the month to see if they will get their HEA or if they will be destined to always just miss their chance with one another.

Filthy Foreign Exchange is an amazing collaborative effort by S.E. Hall and Angela Graham. It’s not as hot and sexy as some of the other books they have co-written, but it’s hilarious, insightful, and just an amazing story. I fell hard for Kingston and Echo and everything that they’ve gone through so far. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you up till the middle of the night, and have you laughing out loud, then Filthy Foreign Exchange is the book for you!

FILTHY FOREIGN EXCHANGE is my first read by this writing duet and I enjoyed it immensely! Talk about an angst-ridden, pulse pounding, good time!

Brimming with chemistry and overflowing with wit, I couldn't help but be enchanted with the connection that Kingston and Echo shared. Flirtation, innuendos, witty banter, laughs, and heartbreak...you get all of this and more in this sassy and heartwarming story. Kingston and Echo are GREAT characters. Two people experiencing new and raw feelings...one falling in love for the first time, and the other is still quite a mystery. Echo's journey is one that we've all experienced at a young age, and it is beautiful and endearing. She was a terrific heroine and one that I would stand tall and applaud for. Kingston is more of a mystery to me, but no less complex. I wasn't expecting this book to end the way it did, but I'm pretty ECSTATIC that it's not over. I'm so damn eager to learn how this all plays out.

I didn't know what to expect really, but I can tell you that I fell in love pretty quickly with Kingston and Echo. Together and separately. Their animosity turned friendship turned something more is intriguing and I can't wait to see how they are pulled back together. Don't kill the messenger, but this is not a standalone. There is more coming. Be prepared to finish this and still have tons of questions. But I think Hall and Graham did a great job of sucking me in so I have no choice as to find out what happens next and if Kingston and Echo's happily ever after comes to fruition.

This was a cute story about a sexy foreign exchange student, named Kingston and his experience in the states. Kingston is all things bad boy. He is a playboy, sexy, troubled, and misunderstood in so many ways. His father sends him to the states due to his reckless behavior back home in London. In the hopes that he will straighten out and find some control to his wild antics. However, all Kingston needed was Echo Kelly to make him calm his bad boy ways. Echo is the sister of the guy he exchanged homes with, and let me just tell you... It's going to be a long 12 months of sexual tension!!

Echo is a loner, she always has been and she is just fine with it. In fact, she would rather be with her own company then with those of her school mates. She is very mature for her age, and would rather just focus on school, and her love of aerial acrobats. Picture that Pink performance when she danced and hung from those long scarves hanging from the ceiling. Yes, gorgeous right!! And she is a master performer. Echo's life is simple.....school, chores, and her acrobats. Life is uncomplicated and moving smoothly, that is under Kingston comes into the mix, then things turn a little more.... Hot and bothered.

Try and they might to keep away from each other, they can't deny that there is something growing between them. There isn't any sex, but that didn't take away from the combustable chemistry growing between them. I think a big part of that had to do with some age factors. Kingston is not that much older then echo, however he is in college where she is 17 and in her last year of high school. Plus Echo's father would probably castrate Kingston is he even looked at Echo in a more then friends kind of way.

The book kinda ended in a small Cliffy and it defiantly left you wanting more...and more and more. I can't wait for book two as I think it is going to be really sexy and fun. I recommend this book to anyone who ever wanted to experience a sexy exchange student and their hot hot accents.

Okay, so this is good, if you're into stories about young adult/high school characters. Typically I am not... but look, I gave this 4 stars despite my usual misgivings. The characters were interesting, the backstories are revealed slowly and are intriguing.... and there's sufficient drama to hold my interest.

HOWEVER....The last couple of SE Hall/Angela Graham books I'd read were pretty filthy -- with adult dirty talkers and lots of sexy times...and with strong sassy women.

There was NOTHING filthy about this, unless you count lying and cheating as filthy... and that wasn't done by any of the main characters. AND, this ends on a pseudo cliffhanger.... no drama, just an unresolved relationship and I needed more info on how the people who have been lying are STILL GETTING AWAY WITH IT. The filthiest this gets is off roading in a rain storm that makes them literally filthy. But that's it. And there's some kissing. All of which is appropriate for high schoolers. However, there is enough drama to make this seem like an adult novel, so that at least held my interest.

Echo is 17 and an aerobatic aerialist (think Cirque du Soleil). (While this is highly unusual, it doesn't add that much to the story AT ALL, so don't get your hopes up.) Her older brother goes to the UK for a foreign exchange kind of program for college and that means Kingston comes in her brother's place. He lives with them and goes to the local college; she's in high school but attends the local college for an AP class, so they see each other and actually have class together.

The sexual tension between the two of them is pretty high... but I wouldn't call it filthy. And there's drama all around. Her best friend Savannah is more than just flighty, she's a lying whore... lying to EVERYONE, including herself. And the other men in the story are painted as creeps, with the exception of Kingston and the absentee brother.... which I found strange.

Perhaps part 2 will tell us more, but seriously -- we couldn't have been warned about this ahead of time?

My Review (ARC provided) http://triciaciak.blogspot.com/2016/0...
4-4.5 stars!

This was such a cute story! I actually thought it was going to be a lot different than it was. I had this idea that I wouldn't like the hero in some way but I really liked him. I thought probably because of the title it would be slightly dirty but nope, it was full of some scorching chemistry though. In fact this book was really unique in a way that things didn't turn out as I expected and I like that. I will warn the reader that the book is not tied up in the end, it definitely leaves you hanging.

As I was reading this book I just kept reading with a smile on my face because of how I much I enjoyed both the hero and heroine and I was thinking that it was a such a sweet story and then at about 50-60 percent in they bring on the angst and at 80 percent my heart was pounding and I couldn't stop, I needed to know what would happen.

Echo(h) is an introvert and uses all her time and energy practicing her art. She has always had her protective older brother to look out for her and be by her side but when he moves to study abroad she doesn't know what to do with herself until she meets Kingston(H). Kingston is her new housemate taking her brothers place. They quickly form a friend/foe kind of relationship and he tries to take on her brother’s protective role. The chemistry is pretty instant and soon they don't know how to handle their attraction to one another. They try to keep a distance but how long can they pretend?

"You only fully realize the depth of want and need immediately after experiencing loss."

This story intrigued me, it left me wanting more and left me hoping to see a little vengeance on some of the secondary characters. My fingers are crossed in book two I get that.

I can't wait for the second one!

I don't think that word means what you think it means. "Filthy Foreign Exchange Student" is fun, flirty, and chemically charged! But as for "filthy" ... the Hero, Kingston, is many things, frisky, randy, charming, and romantic but as filthy as he wants his reputation to be he's simply incredibly swoony. The Heroine, Echo, is a loner, loyal, and dedicated to her family's generation's old aerialist show in which she has a special showcased spot. Her overprotective brother, Sebastian, is in London on a Foreign Exchange program leaving Echo on her own for the first time. What she hasn't realized is the extent to which her brother has kept the boys away from her. Echo has no idea how attractive she is to the opposite sex she thinks that her pretty, perky, best friend, Savannah, who is her brother's girl friend, is the big draw in their duo. Clay, her brother's best friend is amping up the frequency he's hitting on Echo and she's feeling abandoned by Sebastian. So she has no intention of making his "replacement" feel welcome in her home. In theory, Kinston and Echo have a Meet/Cute but between his cocky and presumptuous charm and the chip on her shoulder she wants nothing to do with him. Except there is something about him that affects her - and she doesn't like it.
"Filthy Foreign Exchange Student" was a complete revelation! It was Romantic, Sweet, Adorable, and definitely had an element of Surprise. The Hero and Heroine, Kingston and Echo, were completely loveable and they didn't make me frustrated (too much ... a little at the end). Kingston made huge steps in character growth - which, as an English Major from way back - I love! S. E. Hall and Angela Graham absolutely hooked me and I had to pre-order "Filthy Foreign Exchange Student 2" immediately upon finishing the book.

KINGSTONS IN TOWN!

Kingston is an exchange student from the Uk, so yes, hot British boy alert, obviously then right from the start I was already loving this. All the girls want him, follow him around, Yes Kingston definitely is in town.

Echo is the sister of Sebastian who is the exchange for Kingston, so not a bad swap, except this good girl doesn't have brotherly feelings towards him and it's mutual but in a strict home and Echo being super good good, innocent and pure it doesn't go any further, however the flirting, the banter, the looks, the jealousy is all apart of this brilliant book.

Told in Echo's pov, Filthy foreign exchange is a college/high school setting with a graceful plot and eloquent words, seriousness and humour in the balance. Disappointed a little there was no filthy in sight, not even a little bit, Kingston is such a gent.

Echo:
Kingston speaks words that belong in the most romantic of novels and poems because he's practiced, having perfected the art due to the fact that he's addicted to the prize it gets him: smitten girls, shamelessly willing to do anything he wants.

Kingston:
There was something in her movements that made you think she never walked but always danced.

I Loved Filthy foreign exchange and I was on edge, will they? won't they? but alas it looks like I'm going to have to read part 2, no problem there, I could of carried on reading this forever. I loved the characters, the banter and the bits of angst thrown in and there's so much more to learn yet about Kingston and I hope Sebastian.

Great recommended read looking forward to book 2

OMG! JUST OMG! I have read every Angela Graham and SE Hall book that they have written together and I just want to say that never, AND I MEAN NEVER, have they left me feeling like this. HUGE CLIFFY! HUGE! That I did not see coming at all. I would be mad as heck if I didn’t love this book so hard. But I cannot be mad because this book was pure NA deliciousness!

So good that I didn’t highlight one gosh darn quote. So good that I did not make one annotation. I usually do that with all of my books that I read but nope, not this time. I was in it. Just call me Echo Kelly because I was doing acrobats on the tree near her house and mooning over a sexy British exchange student known as Kingston Hawthorne. I was four wheeling and living out my teenage drama all over again and I enjoyed ever stinking minute of it.

One of my very favorite things about this book besides the fact that it has an NA/YA vibe was the sexual tension between the main two characters. It was off the charts. The flirting, the dirty talk, I loved it all but not much happens so I was left with a huge cliffy and wanting something big to happen. So I kinda feel like kissing and murdering these two authors right now. The only saving grace is that I do not have to wait long for part two which has a pre-order already up on Amazon for May! Whew! So, hopefully I will get my resolution soon so that I can forgive two of my favorite authors for keeping me waiting.

4.5 Stars!

These two ladies never cease to amaze me. I love S.E.Hall. I am a HUGE fan of her writing and each book she releases, I devour them whole. And Angela, she is newer to me but her co-writing that I have read with S.E., made me a fan for life for sure.

This book was amazing and so so good. It was sexy, sweet, intense, angsty, passionate, edgy, and left me with a total book hangover that had me reeling for a while. Filthy Foreign Exchange was naughty, delicious, enticing, and completely captivating.

S.E. Hall and Angela Graham deliver a book to their readers that will be a top read of this year. I laughed, smiled, swooned, got angry, and fell completely & helplessly in love. You will go through a range of emotions and by the end, it will all be worth it.

Temptation never looked so good...

Are you ready for Kingston and Echo? Because let me tell you... I totally was not prepared and they blew me away. My heart raced. My breathing picked up. My kindle may have been on the verge of steaming from all the sexual tension lighting up my e-reader.

Their story is not over... far from it. This book does end on a cliffhanger (and I know *gasp* I hate them but with these two ladies, I knew they wouldn't do me wrong and they came through) but the wait for the conclusion to their story is a short one!

I highly recommend this book.

3.45!

This was an OK reading. And it has a dreamy Brit, so that's even better ;)

Echo Kelly is loyal to her studies, family, and aerial artistry. However, once Kingston comes into her life due to an exchange program, her attention changes to the cocky and handsome new member of her household.

How long can you pretend you’re just friends?

So this book has the perfect setting for an incredible story. However, I didn't like that the tension between the main characters was dragged on till the end of the book without meaningful progress and now I have to wait for the next one. Besides, I felt like Sebastian's relationship, Echo's brother, took all the attention in the story, rather than Kingston and Echo's. And the little bit of what I could see of Kingston, well, he was not really a bad boy, but I hope in the next book we get to see why he thinks of himself as a bad boy.

Anyway, I'll still wait for the next book!

I wasn't sure what I was getting with this book since it's actually my first time reading either of them!

It's also YA which I'm not to crazy about but in the end I got sucked into!

Echo Kelly is the brainiac. She has no time to veer off her path. She is also crushed when her oldest brother gets into the exchange program. What she wasn't counting on hie that Kingston would be so hot.

Kingston Hawthorne had the life every twenty-year-old guy dreams of— endless cash, easy women, and fast cars— until his father ripped it all away, shipping him off to the States and placing him temptingly close to the underage virgin who fascinates him in the most challenging of ways.

So you see this and you think he's going to be arrogant and full of himself. YOU WERE RIGHT!

But the drama doesn't stop there. Their rooms have a connecting wall. WHERE YOU HEAR EVERYTHING!

In a case of trying to pretend the other doesn't really exist and realizing that you can never plan for love. Never expect because it's the boss of you!

Every single time I thought something was coming. BOOM. It didn't! which made it that much more enjoyable!

With that said I'm a little bit shocked that it's a cliff hanger!

Another great book by Angela Graham and SE Hall. These ladies never fail to set our pulses racing when it comes to reading their work.

A lovely story that will keep you reading.

Kingston is a foreign exchange student from London who comes to stay with Echo and her family while her brother goes to London.

The chemistry between these two is amazing and so palatable you just want to know what will happen next. The conversations between Kingston and Echo are a great from flirtation and fun to heartfelt moments and angst just to keep the mix going. Kingston can be obnoxious and Echo stubborn but deep down Echo is a young girl who is caught up with how she feels. Her first love. We all know how encompassing that can be.

This is a book you will fall in love with, it is a great story and one which will keep you guessing as to whether these two will have more or will go their separate ways. You will experience all emotions reading this book and to me that is why Angela Graham and SE Hall do amazing books together.

This is not a standalone book.
