2016 Symphony on the Prairie Wagon Pulling
Wagon pulling during the Symphony on the Prairie concerts is one of the fundraising opportunities available to the Troop.

Scouts (accompanied by an adult) can sign up to pull wagons for concert goers and help them haul their coolers and other gear to their seats at tables or on the grass. Because it is entirely tip-based, there is no guarantee of any specific amount of earnings, but the Scouts usually do well enough to make it worth their while.

Please "request" the dates that you would like to be considered for wagon pulling. No dates are guaranteed until confirmed with Conner Prairie. We won’t get all the dates we ask for, so once Conner Prairie lets us know how many pullers we can have for each date, we will distribute the available wagons to those interested in pulling them.

Commitments to participate are FIRM as there are few opportunities to participate among several community groups.
It is YOUR responsibility to find a substitute should your plans change. Choose up to 3 spots. Registration will be opened up if more spots are available or reduced if spots are filled. You may not receive your first or second choice depending upon demand within the Troop and outside groups.

Your shift begins once the gates have opened and ends when the concert starts. Gates open at 6:00pm and concerts begin at 8:00pm. Exceptions are the July 4th series (gates open at 4:30pm) and July 31 (gates open at 5:00pm, concert begins at 7:00pm.)
