The Resilience Award was named in honor of Laura Choate, a longtime advocate for the well-being of Oklahoma children.
We are seeking nominations for individuals who, like Laura Choate, have 1) overcome significant challenges in their life, 2) have the courage to voice their opinion about issues they care about, and 3) advocate on behalf of others like them. Nominees should exhibit bravery, demonstrate dedication to fostering resilience in youth, and inspire resilience in youth by exhibiting the characteristics of the "7 C's of Resilience."
