In the lead-up to the Olympics, Catalytic Communities (
www.CatComm.org) is working to support international journalists to produce accurate, nuanced and informed reporting on Rio’s favelas. We've worked for over 15 years with thousands of community residents and leaders in hundreds of favelas across the city, so we're able to provide contextual information on the political, social, economic and cultural landscape of Rio and its favelas, and connect reporters with favela residents who have important stories to tell. Through our news site,
www.RioOnWatch.org, we've published our widely used 'Olympics Resources for Journalists' which you can find here:

Now, via this quick survey, you can help us gauge interest in an "Olympics Reality Tour," a full-day itinerary for a group of journalists to visit favelas affected by the Olympics preparations, and meet with key community leaders and activists.
