K.P. Haigh joined the adult world as a project manager. After spending years in spreadsheets, she put her love of blank notebooks to good use and started spinning words into love stories.

In a perfect world, K.P. would have a never-ending supply of coffee, carbs, and sticky notes. She corners the market on ridiculous facial expressions and is happiest when she's cooking for people or making them laugh.

She’s always up for crispy French fries and can’t wait for self-driving cars to take over the world so she can read on her way to everywhere.

K.P. lives in Seattle with the man who loves her crazy and their son, who inherited half of it.

I was *that* kid who would walk around my yard talking to myself, telling grand tales of knights and princesses and mermaids. My neighbors definitely thought I was strange.

Throughout all of my word play, I've always been drawn to stories about love. I think it's the most fascinating force on the planet. So, when I finally got serious about becoming an author, I was naturally drawn to romance...with a bit of comedy thrown in. I'm always up for laugh, and I hope my readers are too. =)(less)

Keep writing. Keep writing. Keep writing.

I think that is the one thing that took me from a person who had a bunch of unfinished stories on their hard drive to a published author. Instead of stopping when I got writer's block, I kept writing.

Even when it was completely crap. I kept sitting down and banging out as many words as my brain would fork over (sometimes it would only be like 200-300). Inevitably, I would sit down one day and hit inspiration gold, and the words would start to pour out again.

Those days are the best, and they always come back. Always.(less)

“I think I need to break up with my brain. It’s going crazy and dragging me down with it. I”
K.P. Haigh, Only Fools Jump

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles"
