About The Millennium Club for the Elderly
Scotstown’s Millennium Club caters for senior citizens in Scotstown and the surrounding area. The club offers a social gathering while providing a meal, social music and dancing in Urbleshanny Hall each Wednesday. The club runs from September to June and lunch is served at 1pm.
What's Involved
The Millenium Club for the elderly in Scotstown are seeking a volunteer driver. The driver will be asked to collect food from St Davnets in Monaghan town and transport the food to the club in Scotstown. After the meals have been served the driver will then be asked to deliver the containers back to St Davnets.
The volunteer is welcome is stay and join in the lunch club activities or may wish to just fill the role of driver and delivery person.
What's required for this position
The volunteer must have access to their own car. Although there will be help available, ideally the volunteer will be able to lift containers of meals in and out of their car.
Level of English required for this role:
Intermediate English
