it was amazing

Stars: 5

I absolutely adore this book. I've read a few chef romances and have enjoyed them, but this one, THIS one takes the cake. Joe and Frankie are the most "normal" relatable couple for me. I relate to Frankie's anxiety so well, that I really feel like I'm her as I'm reading. There are so many misunderstandings about it, yet the way Conners describes and shows different triggers and reactions that set Frankie off, my heart aches for Frankie. I'm elated that Joe is the type of person that was patient and willing, because if he wasn't this book wouldn't be as amazing As it is.
The emotions that were stirred up throughout this book were so amazing. I felt every speck of it; hurt, comfort, joy, arousal, anxiety, unsure.
This isn't just a love story, for me is every tiny piece of it being put together like the perfect recipe. Friendship, understanding, acceptance, learning, willing, chemistry, love, & soul. Frankie and Joe are perfect for one another.
If the next book/s are anything like this one, Ms. Conners is going to do well for herself.
So take a chance and make your own opinion.
