Uzbekistan tightens border control after anthrax cases in neighboring states

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan tightened epidemiological control over preventing anthrax and other dangerous infections, UzA reported quoting the state sanitary doctor Saidmurod Saidaliev.
It is worth to mention that several cases of anthrax were recorded in neighboring states.
Saidmurod Saidaliev said that medical examination of citizens, arriving from foreign states, was launched in border areas.
He said that Uzbekistan conducts veterinary examination of animals and their vaccinations as livestock are main sources for anthrax and Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever.
