Prince Harry has ‘frozen out’ best mate after marrying Meghan Markle
Since tying the knot in May, the Duke of Sussex is said to have drifted apart from close pal and ‘bad influence’ Tom 'Skippy' Inskip
PRINCE Harry's life has changed in so many ways since marrying Meghan Markle – and is also said to be affecting his friendship group.
Since tying the knot this year, the Duke of Sussex is said to have frozen out close pals Tom Inskip and Astrid Harbord.
Tom “Skippy” Inskip was one of the friends at the infamous Las Vegas night, where Prince Harry was caught playing naked billiards with showgirls in a hotel suite.
But the Express reported how his “tomfoolery” has no place in the world of “fruit smoothies” and “early night” that Meghan is an advocate of.
A friend is said to have told the publication: “Like several others who were considered a questionable influence on Harry during his bad old bachelor days, Tom has been dropped, even though he himself now has a lovely wife, Lara.
"It's all part of Meghan's quiet airbrushing out of Harry's old posse. She doesn't want temptation - of any sort - being put in his way while they concentrate on starting a family."
Another friend who Prince Harry has distanced from his life is said to be PR guru Astrid Harbord, who attended Kate’s hen do and was close to the prince after he split up from long-term girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
According to the Express, Meghan's "core of steel" has lead to “mutterings from some of Prince Harry's racier chums, who have been miffed at being excluded from the royal couple's cosy gatherings.”
Kensington Palace has been contacted for comment but declined to comment.
It’s not the only way that Meghan Markle has influenced her royal husband’s life.
Meghan also put Prince Harry on a pre-wedding diet - encouraging him to ditch the burgers and snack on kale ahead of their nuptials.
The former Suits actress encouraged Harry to shape up before they tie the knot, and as a result, he has shed "at least half a stone".
The royal family went on their annual summer holiday to Balmoral over the August bank holiday weekend and, as always, the traditional grouse hunt took place.
Even little Prince George raised eyebrows by taking part in his first shoot, but one member of family was noticeably absent – Prince Harry.
Some people have speculated that Prince Harry shunning the activity is down to Meghan Markle.
Last Boxing Day he also backed out of the traditional family grouse hunt, so as not to upset animal-loving wife.
Meghan previously championed her love of animals by refusing to wear leather or fur, has adopted rescue dogs, and has said in the past she tries to eat vegan during the week days.
A pal of Harry’s added: “If Meghan’s not comfortable with him doing the shoot, he wouldn’t want to upset her.”
