February 7: Safety Alert System test.  You'll get a text, email and/or call from CPP's safety alert system around 11 a.m. Don't worry -- it's just a test. Double check that your contact info is up-to-date in BroncoDirect. Read more about CPP Emergency Communications here

February 11: Account balance for financial aid recipients and incoming students due.

March 2: Priority filing deadline for 2019-20 FAFSA and California Dream Act Application. Use your 2017 tax info to fill it out. Find more info here.

Run for ASI Student Government. If you want to run for president, vice president or senator position in the upcoming 2019 election, you'll need to attend one of the mandatory info sessions. All applications are due February 27 at 5 p.m. to the Student Government office in Building 35, room 1339.

February 9: Bronco Family Day. Celebrate the spirit of Cal Poly Pomona with your family and friends! There will be carnival rides, games, a petting farm, food trucks, athletics events, and more.

February 14: "Break the Ice" Cream Social. Stop by the Games Room Etc. in the BSC from 10 a.m. to noon for a tasty treat between classes. 

February 14: Flick and Float. Enjoy a free screening of "50 First Dates" from 7 to 9 p.m. at the BRIC poolside lounge.

February 14: Vintage Valentine: A Swing Soiree. Join BEAT for Vintage Valentine: A Swing Soiree for a live jazz band, swing dance lessons, mocktails and more from 7 to 9 p.m. in the BSC, Ursa Major. 

February 16: Hike and Explore: Joshua Tree National Park. The first outdoor adventure of the semester is in Joshua Tree from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register for $50 here or at the BRIC. 

February 17: GRE Cinema Club. Take a trip to Wakanda with this free screening of "Black Panther". Attendees will enjoy snacks, Marvel trivia and an opportunity gamecard from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Games Room Etc. 

February 18 & 19: Finding Articles workshop. Go to this workshop in the University Library, room 2913 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (2/18) or 1 to 2 p.m. (2/19) to learn more about finding articles on university databases. Register for 2/18 here or 2/19 here

February 19: Fake News workshop. Go to this workshop in the University Library, room 1828 from noon to 1 p.m. to learn more about how to spot "fake news." Register here

February 19: Hospitality Career Expo. Stop by the expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kellogg West Conference Center.
