Ok WOW I really love this series and I need more please , One more try is the darkest in the Knights of Sin series and even though the other books can be read as standalone I highly suggest that you at least read Never Letting go and Keeping Faith before you start this one due to key eliminates . Bash and Shannon both suffer in darkness but for different reasons I was honestly surprised when I found out they were going to be couple I saw someone else for the heroine but from the first couple of chapters I just knew Shan and Bash were meant to be .They hate to love while also love to hate one another but soon as they get things figured out and realize the only one that can calm them while making them whole is each other . My heart really went out for Shan the things she was faced with and the darkness that grew as time went by not knowing how to release it by the end she grows a lot and becomes a bad A (wink) . I really didn't know what to think of Bash but once we realizes his feelings for the heroine were legit I warmed up to him by his actions . The sex scenes are steamy , dark , hot , and dominate . I can't wait to see who's next I just know I'm going to love it , a must read that you don't want to miss .

What can I say keeps getting better and better. The Knights Of Sin are getting so hot. Bash and Shannon are two lost souls, both are down a dark road that can consume them.
Together they can climb out and find love. It’s not all roses and candy but they make it.

Whoa. This book was darkness...soul deep darkness.
Sebastian has too many marks on his soul to ever be comfortable in the light. He's dealt with so much in his past and it's turned him into a stone cold killer. He doesn't allow himself to feel, until Shannon. In the beginning, she was just the president's niece, the lost, broken girl, they saved. One drunk night, she became another mistake. It was one night! One night that is screwing up everything, threatening the family he's created in the MC. One night and she's knocked up! Bash can't be someone's father!
Shannon was light and sweetness until she was kidnapped. It left scars on her soul and stole all that was good in her life. She doesn't even know who she is anymore. The men in the MC are good to her...except Bash. He's the hardest, darkest man she's ever met. Lost in her grief, she made a mistake letting him get too close. Her already jacked up life gets even more complicated when their one night together leaves her pregnant.
She tries to move on with her life, going back to college, etc but all she's lost holds her back. The darkness in her calls out to the darkness in Bash. It takes another close call to make them see that they balance each other out perfectly.
The raw violence and darkness that you've come to expect in MC books is much more present here than in any other book of this series. The things that have tarnished the souls of these characters can be pretty heavy and the sex has the feel of anger and hatred for much of the book. However, the author does a great job of balancing this darkness with the other characters and the love of family. Despite my initial unease with them together, Shannon and Bash complement each other well and they wade through the darkness together to find the light.

The fifth book in the Knights of Sin series, and IMO this was the best one so far. Shannon is still haunted by the trauma from being kidnapped, but living in the clubhouse with her uncle and the MC as she has no clue what to do with herself. For the mean time, she goes to school and does her best at managing her PTSD but that's easier said than done most days.
Bash knows he has nothing he can offer Shannon but something about her makes him feel things he thought he shut off long ago, but he will maintain the distance from her. Now that he has found out she is pregnant, he decides to maintain that distance as far as possible, what kind of father would he be, all he knows is the evil darkness inside of him. For Shannon, Bash gives her something that she didnt know she needed. When he makes it clear he doesn't want the baby, and the fact that she isn't sure she wants it either, they are pretty much at a stalemate... until they are forced to deal with whats going on. Will Bash own up to his feelings or just keep Shannon away and protect her from the darkness inside?
This was by far the darkest read of the series up to date. My heart broke at one point for the two, as they are both broken people, just trying to make things right. The sexy times, were a lot steamier with the dark edge to it, the danger and violence always a good mix for a juicy story. There are a few small plot issues, but nothing major. I give this 4 stars.

One More Try is the 5th book in the Knights of Sin MC series, and while you could read each one as a standalone, I really don't recommend it, especially when it comes to this story. See Shannon's past is revealed in a previous story, so she makes more sense if you've read them in order. And this story is Shannon & Bash's story. Both are very dark people due to their past demons, and one drunken night had them hooking up which leads to more chaos in their lives, as she's the President's niece, and off limits. But there's a baby now, and he doesn't want it, while she's not even sure if she does. This story was the biggest angst filled journey of them all in my opinion, and I found my eyes leaking more than once. With One More Try, the talented Erin Trejo really showed some serious writing brilliance as Shannon's struggles were written very realistically because the things she went through didn't just go away overnight. Nope there was some serious PTSD that never truly went away. And Bash, he had me struggling with rage throughout most of the story, until he didn't, and then his emotions had my eyes leaking. And these twists truly came out of left field to have the f-bombs not dropping, but flying out from the top of my lungs. Oh, and never fear, the sexy times were kinky & lit the sheets up. Another masterpiece in an awesome series that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had to take a day or two away to write this review especially after this emotionally packed story of Shannon and Bash. I have to say Shannon had me reeling and earning mad props for so many reasons as beaten, battered, abused, gutted, tossed to the side, as she was this girl held it together. Oh she just about broke my heart. That is what was left after Bash. . . oh yeah I got suckered in by this author again and I really think I must have some emotionally masochistic tendencies because I continue to read this MC series. Why in the world do I keep reading this author's books that have me bawling one minute and ready to act out the next?
Bash and Shannon both have such a gut-wrenching past individually but hell so do the rest of this MC. They are all unique and finely chipped china. They aren't broken but that's because they have other's who get them and help them heal. They fit. An amazingly emotional healing read, that leaves you wanting yet afraid to know what this author will do next.

I keep saying this series gets better and better but wow, this book just took my breath away. I devoured the pages and felt so emotionally invested with these two. I was absolutely gutted at times and my heart broke for both of them.
Bash and Shannon don't have an easy story at all. Not only is Shannon dealing with what she has lived through but Bash isn't making life easier. She is lost and just when things start turning around things take a turn. Bash knows he isn't what Shannon needs but she brings the only light into his life and he can't resist. He has been fighting the pull and hurting her in the process. Just when things start going good he is once again reminded that maybe he doesn't deserve any good in his life.
I wanted to be made at Bash but I just couldn't. I absolutely loved this book. Erin has done such a wonderful job with this series and I seriously need Link's story!!! I am so glad that I have read this series in order. I don't think you will get the full enjoyment if you don't. I highly recommend this series and think you will love it as well!

Bloodthirsty and bittersweet!!! What an emotional read. Erin takes you on a journey, one that explores the darkest depths of the world. How one women survives the most horrid past and the choices she makes. This is a story of change and the powerful effects love has.
Shannon and Sebastian are the most interesting couple you’ll find. One is of light and the other of dark. Tortured with demons they fight to find their happily ever after.
Together they are strength, love and unity, apart they are destructive, broken and calculating. Follow Shannon and Sebastian on their journey as they try one more time.

Bash! OMG this story will turn you upside down, inside out, it will rip your heart out and it will roughly grab you and hurl you around; and you will not let go for anything in the world because this story is outstanding. Bash is dark, a black heart that was made by a past that he would rather keep there. Of all of the brothers, Bash is the darkest of them all. He lives for making his victims bleed, to watch them die. It's his thing. Shannon is sweet, innocent and so damaged that even she doesn't believe that she will ever be able to be loved, much less wanted. She'd been kidnapped, beaten, tortured and rescued. She's safe with her uncle now, but she is still lost and broken. One drunken night, one night in his arms, in his bed and her whole world tilts.
Bash is furious, he's not cut out for this, he doesn't want this. He wants her, but he knows that he is too dark for the light that she emits. He knows she's broken, she's hurt, but he want's her. He tries to stay away, but something about her keeps drawing him back to her. The problem with their problem, she's the niece of his President.
Things begin to go good for the couple after they talk, but something happens that could ruin them forever. It changes them, especially Shannon.

OMG!! I've volunteered to review this book for United Indie Book Blog. This is the fifth book in this series. I love reading Erin Trejo books. This is my favorite of this series. It's Bash and Shannon's story. Shannon is the niece of Bomber, the Prez of the MC, and she had been kidnapped by rivals previously tortured and raped. While Bash had only known darkness for so long. This book is absolutely amazing and loved every moment. My emotions was all over the place in this one. I was angry, I cried and it broke my heart but slowly it was put back together again. I couldn’t put it down, it’s a must read and then you will understand why! I read this in one day. That's how good this series is. It's a MUST HAVE!!! Keep up the awesome work! I can't wait to read the next story in this series.

This series just keeps getting better. Bash and Shannon have had their fair share of trouble and heartache, with Shannon enduring more than she could ever have imagined. I loved everything about this story. It was heartrending, but it was also a rising from the ashes. Bash was trying to do the right thing for her, but even he couldn't fight the pull. I love the gritty. tough and tenacious MC family. Bullet is still one of my favorites, and I was glad to see his part in this story. I am hoping that Link's story will come up soon. He was so sweet.

This series has taken a turn for the dark and gritty. Sebastian is definitely the darkest hero in this series. Shannon, once an innocent college student, is still battling her demons from her time in captivity. She is just learning how to keep her head above water when her and Bash make a drunken mistake. There are far reaching consequences for this drunken encounter, from that moment on they love to hate each other. Will Bash and Shannon ever come together for their happily ever after?

Trejo seems to excel at dark emotional reads. Her books are not just boy meets girl, they have a few issues but in the end all is rainbows and sunshine. You can technically say Trejo's books are HEA but just because there is a rainbow there are dark clouds with silver linings.
Honestly, this book is dark and emotional with possible trigger. It is a study in the human psyche. I always have said I hate guns. I like blades because if you are going to kill someone do it up close and personal. Feel their blood, their life leave their body and watch their soul leave through their eyes. It would seem Bash and I have something in common. And he finds out what is in Shannon's soul.
The Alpha Men of the Knights Sin MC are hard to love. They are complex and unique. In One More Try Aubrie really explains to Shannon what kind of woman is needed, “We are the old ladies of the Knights of Sin MC. We have to be a little* [messed] *up. Not so much that we can’t love. Not so much that we can’t find happiness. Just enough to remind us of who we are.”

This is my favourite book in the series so far,
and what an awesome series it is..
You can read as a standalone but recommend reading in order.
Shannon spends one night with Bash and her whole world is turned upside down...
Bash doesn’t want have anything to do with Shannon. He feels she’s too good for someone like him...
They both have their demons in the past...
Can they overcome the darkness and find the light in one another?
Will they realise that they’re made for each other?
This book was packed with action and suspense. It was darker than the other books in the series. I don’t want to give too much away but really enjoyed this book.

This book was packed with action and suspense. It was darker than the other books in the series. I don’t want to give too much away but really enjoyed this book.

GOODNESS! Shannon is bad ass!! She has endured so much in her young life, it’s amazing that she was able to hold onto any part of herself. Bash, has only known darkness for so long... when they get together it’s beautifully tragic. I loved this book❤️❤️

Deep and Dark!!
This is book 5 in the Nights of Sin series, and I think it’s the best book so far!! I can’t say much without giving anything away. But what I will say is that this is the darkest book of the series so far and I loved it. It’s emotional, and gripping, and dark, full of tragedy angst. But you will get an HEA in the end!! Oh this book is absolutely amazing and loved every moment. I don’t know if I should be mad at Erin or cry on her shoulder. I had so many emotions with Sebastian and Shannon’s story, I was angry, I cried and Erin broke my heart but slowly put my broken heart back together. I love reading Knights of Sins mc series and if you haven’t read the series, I highly recommend to start reading the series because it’s absolutely fantastic read.

Bash is probably the toughest of this MC club, he is also classed as the man whore of the group, but Shannon somehow calls to something inside him. Shannon has been abused, kidnapped and is struggling to find herself after everything happened. She gets comfort from only two people, they are the only ones to calm her, but one more so than the other. This story is so raw and powerful it blew my mind, how does one person cope with so much and still find a way to live, I honestly don’t know. This is hard reading the emotions as well as subject matter. I was so in tune with this couple, I could completely understand especially Shannon after all she went and goes through. There is graphic violence and explicit sexual content in this story. A very hard hitting story.

Whoa. This book was darkness...soul deep darkness.
Sebastian has too many marks on his soul to ever be comfortable in the light. He's dealt with so much in his past and it's turned him into a stone cold killer. He doesn't allow himself to feel, until Shannon. In the beginning, she was just the president's niece, the lost, broken girl, they saved. One drunk night, she became another mistake. It was one night! One night that is screwing up everything, threatening the family he's created in the MC. One night and she's knocked up! Bash can't be someone's father!
Shannon was light and sweetness until she was kidnapped. It left scars on her soul and stole all that was good in her life. She doesn't even know who she is anymore. The men in the MC are good to her...except Bash. He's the hardest, darkest man she's ever met. Lost in her grief, she made a mistake letting him get too close. Her already jacked up life gets even more complicated when their one night together leaves her pregnant.
She tries to move on with her life, going back to college, etc but all she's lost holds her back. The darkness in her calls out to the darkness in Bash. It takes another close call to make them see that they balance each other out perfectly.
The raw violence and darkness that you've come to expect in MC books is much more present here than in any other book of this series. The things that have tarnished the souls of these characters can be pretty heavy and the sex has the feel of anger and hatred for much of the book. However, the author does a great job of balancing this darkness with the other characters and the love of family. Despite my initial unease with them together, Shannon and Bash complement each other well and they wade through the darkness together to find the light.

A Raw , Angst filled journey with two characters that decided one night of forbidden lust couldn't hurt anyone....consequences be damned.
Can they give it a second try?
Shannon is young , impulsive and went after what she really wanted , even if she knew a relationship with one of her uncles men was off limits ....she's ballsy and has guts.
Bash knew he shouldn't have touched fire and now he's got third degree burns that are etched into his soul for eternity.
Can a man who didn't want any responsibilities to tie him down secretly yearn for something that could be lost forever ?

The emotions were all over the place , but that's what made me love Bash and Shannon so hard .They have both been through traumatic pain & loss, especially Shannon since she is younger and was kidnapped , tortured , but I love that the author was like ..eh why not put them through some more .
The action , Bloodshed and drama never ends .I loved that amongst all the anguish the heat between these two was scorching hot and there were even some melt your heart moments between Bash and Shannon that made you route for their rocky relationship to work.

As a reader, it is such an honor to watch an author’s talent grow through every book they write. I am an avid reader of Erin Trejo and I believe “One More Try’ is Erin’s best book to date.

Bash is a fighter, he doesn't do soppy shit! He doesn't do kids! He fights, he kills, he f&^ks! Simple...Well it was simple until Shan enters his life. When Shan is rescued she moves in with her uncle, Bomber the President, and the "family" in the MC clubhouse. After a night together, Shan discovers she is pregnant with Bash's baby. Oppppsie lol
Things soon start to heat up between Bash and Shan, and boy do they heat up! When the past comes a knockin and the present hits them with curveballs, events will leave you shaking your head in denial and crying your eyes out!!

Bash and Shannon was a dark and gut wrenching read but I loved every minute of it!
Full of emotion, love, fighting.
A baby neither of them wanted after a drunken night of sex, lots of ups and downs lots of love and hate!
My god I couldn’t put it down, it’s a must read and then you will understand why! I don’t want to give to much away. Five stars all the way for me!!

This one is about Bash and Shannon. I absolutely loved this one. It was the first one that I read in this series and it drew me to this series. After reading this one I wanted to read the rest of them as fast as i could. I had to know what was going on with the other characters. I do advise that you read these in order as I was a little lost with what was going on with the characters. But this book was yummy. I loved reading about the relationship between Bash and Shannon. I absolutely loved the push and pull between these two. Bash is someone that is stubborn and hard headed but Shannon is someone that can easily bring out his soft sad. There was just great character chemistry in this book. Great action and great storyline. I highly recommend this book, this whole series.

this was the fifth book in this series and i loved it! it about a man who lives for the kill and loves it. he end up sleeping with a woman who is off limits. she gets pregnant and he doesnt do kids. she was rapped and beaten before this happened. only thing keeping her together is this baby. you wont believe what happens in this book.
