Answers and care made simple. The Horizon Blue app offers easy access to your insurance information, including benefits, coverage details and status of your claims. On-call Horizon BCBSNJ support is always at your service to answer your questions or concerns. The app is intended for use by Horizon members and/or persons/entities located in New Jersey. Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

You can also chat with a nurse or see a doctor virtually directly on your mobile device.

Logging in is a nightmare. Every single time the server is down, or logging in by fingerprint just doesn't work for some unidentified reason. And then they don't process more than 4 claims at a time; they just ignore them or deny for a reason that is clearly untrue (like the lack of an address while the address is definitely on the invoice). And don't get me started on trying to fix that.

Veronique, please call tech support if you have any issues in signing in. Additionally, member services can assist with providing any insight regarding the processing of claims. Tech support can be reached at 888-777-5075, option 2. Member services can be reached by dialing 800-355-2583 or calling the phone number on the back of your ID Card.

Poorly thought out from a claims submission perspective. Even though I had an ebill already on my computer I couldn't use that in the app. No, I had to download it, print it, take a picture and upload it in the app. Not only that but I had to log in on my computer because you have to submit a claim form which, guess what, is not available in the app! So I had to print that and take a picture which they may or may not like based on all the dire warnings if your picture isn't good enough for them.

Horrendous. You must reset your password each time you use the app unless biometrics are activated. Good luck getting the information you actually need. More success using the webpage as a guest. Tech support's answer to everything is to reset your password, instead of resolving obvious issues on their end. Known issues (with certain email domains) have gone unresolved for over two years. ETA: Cute. I know how to update a saved pw. Check your tech files. I had to change it again.

The app doesn't require a password reset if you manually sign in. If your password is auto-filling, make sure the correct password is being used & being updated when you change it. If not, it will be out of synch and auto fill with the old(wrong) password every sign in, which would make it seem as if you need to change your password every time.
