With the Super Bowl this weekend, professional football remains in the midst of a health crisis. The NFL reported a 16 percent increase in the incidence of concussions this last season. Repetitive brain trauma puts players at risk of the degenerative brain disease Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, or CTE.
