The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2018 inductees have been announced. Nina Simone, the Cars, Bon Jovi, the Moody Blues, and Dire Straits will all receive the honor. Simone has been eligible since 1986, but this marks the first year she was nominated. Sister Rosetta Tharpe will also be inducted as part of the hall’s Early Influences wing. Radiohead’s Rock Hall hopes will have to wait another year. The full list of nominees also included Rage Against the Machine, Kate Bush, and LL Cool J, among others. The 33rd Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place April 14, 2018 at Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio.
