- Develop and maintain our existing backend system
- Design and implement new software components using our current tech stack
- Continuous evaluation and improvement of technology decisions and implementation strategies

- Java 8 with Spring Framework 4 and Hibernate 5
- Elasticsearch, Kibana and Logstash 5
- Percona XtraDb Cluster 5.7
- Kafka, Redis, Docker, Zabbix, CentOS 7

Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable disciplines
- 3 to 5 years of experience in developing and running distributed applications
- Strong knowledge of Java 8, Hibernate, Spring Framework and database management systems (e.g. MySQL)
- Experience with Elasticsearch 5 and Kafka would be nice-to-have
- Highly interested in learning new stuff
- Fluent in English (German skills are advantages but not required)
