There are some things in life that are just simple, perfect, and delicious the way they are. Werther’s Original candies are that way for me. They are in the sweetest little golden capsules, wrapped in gold foil, and are just overall delicious.  Now the good people at Wertherland are putting the flavor all over some popcorn. As if it were possible, Werther’s Original just got better. Oh my stars, you just don’t even know until you have tried this caramel popcorn!!! Do yourself a favor and buy three bags for the holidays this year. Set out two bags in bowls, but stash the third away for yourself to enjoy after everyone has devoured the other two. This popcorn is so good that you really will find yourself eating handful after handful, unable to stop. I know this from experience!

A few days ago I received a package from the good people at Mommy Party. It contained bags of popcorn, party invitations, product coupons, activity and recipe ideas, the movie Soul Surfer, and more.

I invited my friends and family to come over for a movie night. Instead of having to hassle with snacks, I just set out some popcorn and we ordered pizza. When my friends arrived, the first thing they went to was the Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn. It’s just irresistible with its golden sugar coating. Mmmmm….. anyway, we enjoyed talking for a little while then had our snacks. My guests commented on the flavor of the popcorn and how the coating completely covered each delicious popcorn bite. It really is the best caramel corn I have ever eaten. Ever. After we stuffed ourselves, we got the kids all snuggled up for the movie.

We didn’t end up finishing the movie because we had too much fun being together. The blankets ended up being our hide-and-seek fort. Of course we savored a bit more popcorn before everyone left. I sent the guests home with bags of popcorn, too. We enjoyed our evening so much!! It was so easy to throw the Mommy Party because the supplies were sent to me. I would definitely do it again!!

One thing I loved about Werther’s Original popcorn is that the ingredient list is completely recognizable. The popcorn contains things I would put in my own recipes. Also, the bag is generously sized for a family night. Whether you’re doing game night, cards, or movies with your family time, this will be a great snack that everyone will enjoy. I am thinking about getting these as holiday gifts!!
