The 2019 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon ended a while ago but not without some drama.
Viral reports reval that the unnamed participant began to display signs of insanity and was heard saying, “I’m the most powerful man”.
He did not stop there, he went on to attack one of the medical personnel attending to him.
The Athlete was however calmed with the help of injections and was taken away in an ambulance for further treatment.
The marathon was won by Ethiopian athlete, Sintayehu Legese who walked away with $50,000.
