Because we started talking about Halloween foods in like, July, and holiday foods in October, mentally, I'm already on next year. 2020 is a new year in a new decade which means we have a ton of new things to be excited about...apparently including at least four new Kit Kat flavors.
To be clear, I should say this is all shrouded in *mystery* but we noticed some serious activity surrounding new Kit Kat flavors over the weekend. For one, Instagrammer @Markie_devo posted an Instagram of four Kit Kat flavors that could be coming in 2020.
He says flavors like Cotton Candy, Chocolate Cream Pie, Cherry Cola, and Orange Creamsicle could be coming to Walmart in 2020. To be fair, Markie calls them "possible" flavors, but I choose to believe they're real...except maybe cotton candy. I can do without that one.
If that wasn't enough, Instagrammer @Junkfoodleaks posted ANOTHER possible Kit Kat flavor coming in 2020: Apple Pie. Now this one I am ridiculously into and it's already a big hit in Japan...which is good news for us because Junkfoodleaks said they have already tried this flavor! And it's apparently amazing! Apple Pie is also slated to come out in 2020, but no word on it being a Walmart exclusive.
All this to say, I've reached out to Walmart and Hershey's to try and figure out when we can expect these beauties to come to shelves, if at all. We'll be sure to update this post if we hear anything back.
