In 1913 Domenico
Caraceni - known by many as the father of Italian tailoring
- opened a shop in Rome. He brought in his two brothers, who
had also learned the art of tailoring from their father, and
together they built the Caraceni brand.
The family business has since been passed down through
generations, dressing many notable names along the way.
Clients have included Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, Yves
Saint Laurent, Gianni Agnelli and international royalty.
