Taylor Morrison teams up with National Wildlife Federation

The National Wildlife Federation will foster wildlife habitat conservation to elevate Taylor Morrison’s land development and sustainability practices, impacting thousands of acres of parks and open space in communities across the country

The National Wildlife Federation (NWF), America’s largest and most trusted conservation organization, and Taylor Morrison Home Corporation (NYSE: TMHC), a leading national homebuilder and developer, announced today that their organizations have teamed up to restore and protect wildlife habitat in the homebuilder’s communities nationwide while engaging staff, residents and the public in accessible and effective wildlife restoration efforts.

Building upon Taylor Morrison’s longstanding conservation practices, key initiatives include:   

Applying National Wildlife Federation’s Certified Wildlife Habitat® standards to current and future community parks and open space in Taylor Morrison communities.

Developing Habitat Management Plans for homeowners’ associations that provide standards and guidance to preserve natural areas for generations and promote successful long-term stewardship.

Taking the Monarch Pledge and supporting monarch butterfly recovery efforts by planting native milkweed and providing necessary elements for butterfly gardens in model home parks and in community amenities nationwide.

Collaborating with NWF to design and build Early Childhood Health Outdoors (ECHO) nature playscapes in select communities in lieu of traditional playground equipment.
