BC Tire & Complete Auto Service

Service was good but pricing! Is not.
As usual with almost all car services, the parts cost was marked up by 5 times more than regular cost.
We asked question about part cost and labour cost, but they told us, if they are not buying the parts they are not installing it.
We get it markup the parts cost and make tons of money on customers!!
Not for smart customers who want to spend money wisely..

I've been customer of B C tire in Piscataway for over 20 years and today I was disappointed to find out that Rutgers University does not really get a discount when you purchase tires, the Manager at this location told me that the Free tire installation was our discount however when anyone who buys tires gets the free installation! so when I question that, he changed to,

the tires were on sale and we don't give a discount when tires are on sale...? Which one is it? I didn't appreciate the double talk so to my fellow Rutgers employees there is no discount at D C Tires!!!

These guys are the best. Good pricing, great service, and great tire selection.

And their mechanics are very competant.

I usually ONLY take my car to the dealership, but due to availability and my travel schedule lately, my car needed an oil change service ASAP. I called from work to see if they could squeeze me in same day and Stephen was very transparent with me about the wait time, but assured me they would be able to accommodate me the same day with no problem.

The pricing is very reasonable and the service was great! The customers that were serviced before me seemed pleased with their services as well. I will definitely be back and recommend BC Tire for any service!

Friendly and answered all my questions. There were 4 other customers waiting: The service writers came back telling them that the mechanic found some problems that should be fixed: 5-year-old tires needed to be replaced due to age, windshield wipers, transmission fluid flush, and others. All probably legitimate items, and they were not pushy, only suggestive. However, their rates seem a bit high.

I shopped around for a specific tire, and B.C. Tire had the best price at the time. They claimed that they maintain their inventory (at their main Piscataway location) to have only less than 1-year-old tires. The set I got were 7 weeks fresh from the manufacturer.

Tires were dirty and scuffed up after they gave my car back (I used tire shine to make them look new, no big deal). Poor job removing the OEM wheel balance weights--they left residual adhesive, and it looks like they scraped it off with a screwdriver (potential rim scratch). They did not clean the brake dust in the area off too well prior to sticking on the new balance weights (potential loss of weights as the adhesive ages)--it looked like a rushed job. I thought I had an alignment issue that caused uneven tire wear, but after paying for it ($70 w/ tire purchase), it turned out I had "no" alignment problems. They did not suggest another solution, and they have a high diagnostic rate.

Great experience, great service, and great value! They were transparent and even gave additional value added services.

After comparing tire prices with a few local shops and dealership. The manager offered us the best quotes with great customer service. Their phone operator always speak with a good and almost perfect manner. He will explain to you the things that you don't understand, and provide you with the best suggestions.

Great customer service, we will definitely go back B-C tire again.

I received great service and advice from Stephen. I came in to have my brakes done and also found out that the work I expected to be done was in fact incorrect. I went to another place that was trying to charge me way more for my brakes to be repaired. Stephen showed and explained to me what actually needed to be done. I will be back to have other work done.

P. S. I know this may not matter, but the waiting area and the bathroom are extremely clean. Women like that lol..

Dishonest! Get a second opinion elsewhere if coming here!

Today, my mom took her car here (newish car, 2015 model) to get a tire checked out because it had a visible nail in the sidewall. They said absolutely, yes. The tire needs to be replaced with a new one. Okay fine, that's standard for a leak in the sidewall. Upon urging from her boyfriend, my mom pressed them if the tire has a leak. They insisted yes, and leaks were also found in the spare tire. Of a 2015 car that hasn't needed to use it yet! The boyfriend felt something was off, so they went to get a second opinion elsewhere.

They went to the dealership. The dealership removed 2(!) nails, but no new tire is required. There were no leaks or compromises to the tire integrity. The first nail had a big head but was short, and the second nail was weak and skinny. My mom was spared from being tricked into buying a new tire for a car she has owned for less than a year.

I went to B-C tire once a few weeks back to get a nail pulled (but no flat/unsure if leaking). They also said a rear light was out (that i was not aware of). Since I was in a rush to get to work, I said "that's weird, the dashboard usually informs me that the light is out. if it's a quick job, fine fix it." Now that I look back at it, they probably got me with their lies.

I stopped in last Wednesday late afternoon for a tire rotation and wheel balance. The guy at the front desk (Francisco) was great, very helpful. Didn't try to sell me on all sorts of repairs. They did a perfect job! They have a great waiting area with TV and coffee if you choose to stay and wait. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely be using them now for all my routine maintenance!!
