Baby Daddy

I really enjoyed this book. The meeting of Emmett and Jenna sets the tone of the book and I knew it was going to be a good one. It pulled laughs out of me and it also had my heart happy sighing. I thought this book had the perfect combination heart, heat, and humor. Emmett and Jenna agree to an arrangement, but what happens when real feelings get involved? Though Jenna and Emmett don't see it they couldn't be any more perfect for one another. This is definitely a book you don't want to pass up.

Jenna has a plan, she knows what she wants and she will not allow anything to get in her way of achieving that dream. She has wanted to be a mother for a long time and visiting a sperm bank is one of the ways she wants to ensure that. Emmett is one of my favourite heroes that Kendall has written because there just seems to be this almost vulnerable quality about him but I admire how he knows he wants her and wants to give her what she wants. I just don’t think he expected to give her his heart on top of his baby to her. I loved reading their moments together, how for Jenna it’s just sex but Emmett over time it became this opportunity to have more. I love Emmett’s friends and their ‘support’ but overall for me, Kendall has done it again! She’s taken a story and captivated my heart. 4 stars!

This is a fun, light and steamy read. I was excited to read this book after I realised that the heroine was over 30. I enjoyed the way the author crafted Jenna & Emmett's relationship from the elevator til the end. Their relationship flowed so smoothly. I couldn't rest until I had read the entire book. The story gives you a feel-good vibe throughout and I found myself smiling at the end. What was good about this book is that although you know how the story should go, Ms. Ryan threw a few twists in there that made it different. I'm already looking forward to Bro Code. I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
