Sesameseed Continues to Evaluate New Blockchains
Sesameseed is in the process of evaluating a wide spectrum of blockchains as potential additions to the SEED rewards economy. These are the blockchains currently being evaluated, in no particular order:
- Cosmos (ATOM)
- IoTex (IOTX)
- Tezos (XTZ)
- Qtum (QTUM)
- Waves (WAVES)
- IOST (IOST)
- VeChain (VET)
- Harmony (ONE)
- Maker (MKR)
This list is current as of January 2020 and is subject to change without notice as the evaluation process continues.
Blockchains are unique and each one presents different challenges and opportunities for integration into the SEED rewards model. Some of the criteria used by Sesameseed to evaluate blockchains will include, but not be limited to:
- Potential benefits to SEED holders
- Node operational costs
- Rewards available to block producers
- Ease and costs of integrating the evaluated blockchain with the SEED rewards model
- Input from the Sesameseed community
- Input from the evaluated blockchain’s community
- Potential benefits of Sesameseed’s utilities (for example, Sprout) to the evaluated blockchain
- Ease of staking for the community
- Blockchain stability
- Any other relevant information
How can the community participate in the evaluation process?
The Sesameseed community is made up of many people from across the globe with a wide variety of experience and skills. And there are many ways they can participate in the blockchain evaluation process.
Meaningful dialogue on Sesameseed social media channels regarding the integration of any blockchain under evaluation is highly encouraged.
Where allowed, discussion about Sesameseed with any of the relevant communities from the evaluated blockchains is also encouraged.
The Sesameseed community plays a very valuable part in spreading the message about the benefits of staking with Sesameseed and earning SEED. Members of the Sesameseed community can assist in determining the needs of other communities and the value Sesameseed can bring to those blockchains. Reaching out to new communities benefits all SEED holders and can provide valuable feedback for the evaluation process.
The evaluation process is ongoing
Sesameseed is dedicated to finding and creating opportunities to raise the pegged value of SEED. This evaluation process will be continuous and may evolve as market conditions change or new opportunities emerge.
