Each spring, Denton Time rounds up day camps and classes to help parents plan summer for their kids. Some summer programs may have different schedules around Memorial Day or July Fourth; please call ahead to check how individual camps and classes handle holiday scheduling.
Some programs may offer discounts based on early registration, financial need or other factors. Of course, parents should research summer programs to find the best fit. No matter what camp you choose, do your homework to make sure it’s safe and well-run. (For camp advice, try the American Camp Association’s website for parents,
campparents.org.)
Denton Summer Fun Guide does not include overnight camps, vacation Bible schools or camps held in commercial homes or daycare centers. We also exclude programs that are not open to the public, as well as late or incomplete submissions. For more summer events and activities. We will not publish camps, classes, workshops or activities that take place outside of Denton County.
Complete forms must be submitted by April. 8.
