Baseball stays undefeated

Sophomore pitcher John McMillon struck out six, allowed three hits and walked three in six innings of work as Texas Tech earned a 3-0 win over UT-San Antonio on Sunday at the San Antonio Missions' Wolff Stadium in San Antonio.

The Red Raiders (7-0) will complete the three-game series with a noon Monday game against the Roadrunners (2-3). The contest will be played at Roadrunner Field.

At the plate, Kurt Wilson led the way by finishing 2 for 4 with two RBIs. Grant Little and Gabe Holt were the other two Tech players to finish with multiple hits.

Texas Tech earned a 5-0 win to start the series late Saturday, which helped coach Tim Tadlock secure his 200th career win with the Red Raiders.

Tommy Milnikov picked up a set but ultimately lost in a super tiebreaker as the No. 21 Texas Tech men's tennis team was swept 7-0 by No. 30 Tulane Sunday at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center.
