Sheila Frost Anderson was hired to head sports program operations and logistics for Arkansas Athletes Outreach. She is a former Tennessee Lady Volunteer. She played professional basketball for five years and has been coaching at college and high school levels.

Tate Unruh was hired as general manager and assistant program director for Arkansas Athletes Outreach's Benton County sports complex, which is under construction. He played college basketball at the University of Northern Colorado and professional basketball for six years in Australia, Hungary and Belgium.

Tammy Thurow was hired as Arkansas Athletes Outreach's development director. She worked 12 years at the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce as vice president of marketing and membership, a year as president of the Eureka Spring Chamber of Commerce and two years as executive director of the NWA Challenge of Hope tennis and golf charity event.

Matt and Terrie Shekels of Harrison earned a Young Farmers and Ranchers Excellence in Ag Award from the Arkansas Farm Bureau. Their Boone County cattle operation consists of a herd of 50 purebred Angus cattle and 20 registered black Angus. They also have an artificial insemination/embryo transfer business. Matt Shekels, 33, is an animal science and ag business professor at the College of the Ozarks. Terrie Shekels, 34, is a registered nurse.

Gabriel Soto was named Brick Avenue Lofts general manager for Specialized Real Estate Group. He is in his eighth year with the company, beginning as receptionist. He has worked as property manager for smaller properties in the company's portfolio for several years, Soto will also continue to manage the firm's Rogers properties and Willow Park Apartments.

Maggie Owens was named portfolio manger at Specialized Real Estate Group. She was at The Cardinal at West Center in Fayetteville and managed construction and leasing at Brick Avenue Lofts. She will now oversee property management functions company-wide, including leasing, asset management and customer experience.

Shannon Field was named property manager for Specialized Real Estate Group's Wilson Park Apartments in Fayetteville. She started with the company as manager of Eco Modern Flats in 2017 and has taken on management of Wilson Park Apartments, Whitham Cottages, and 495 Prairie. She will continue to keep office hours at Eco Modern Flats.

Dr. Adam Childs joins Arkansas Urology at 3400 S.E. Macy Road, Suite 18 in Bentonville. He has been in practice in Northwest Arkansas since 2012. Childs received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. He attended Brigham Young University and Rice University for undergraduate studies in biochemistry. He completed his urology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Childs is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Urology Association, the Arkansas Urologic Society and the Arkansas Medical Society.
