Perth High School teacher who allegedly downed booze from hot water bottle in classroom is suspended

A PERTH High School teacher was allegedly thrown out of a classroom after being caught drunk.

She is accused of drinking booze from a hot water bottle.

Sources claim the teacher was visibly drunk and was acting obnoxiously towards the kids in the class.

The teacher was reportedly caught after worried pupils raised the alarm, according to the Daily Record.

And she was allegedly removed from class by school bosses.

It's claimed the woman was so drunk she didn’t notice the kids leaving to alert other members of staff.

Now it’s understood that she has been suspended.

Perth and Kinross Council said that they could not confirm or deny any of the allegations.

However they confirmed that if any claims of inappropriate staff were made, a fully investigation would be carried out.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: “We do not comment on individual members of staff, therefore we have nothing further to add.

"We can neither confirm nor deny any of the statements being made.

"If any allegations of inappropriate behaviour by staff were raised with us, we would investigate them fully.”

A spokesperson for The General Teaching Council of Scotland said: "We do not comment on any investigations or individual cases."
