AppDefense - This topic helps customers understand how AppDefense protects the data center or cloud workloads on top of which applications run. AppDefense is built directly into the vSphere hypervisor and is designed to understand the intended – of “known good” - behavior of the workloads that make up applications. Through use cases and real-world examples, we will cover how its intrinsic position in the hypervisor gives AppDefense the ideal vantage point to detect deviations from the application’s intended behavior that indicate compromise, and to respond to mitigate damage.
