THIS is the shocking moment a balaclava thug grabbed a tiny female shopkeeper by the hair and held her at knifepoint as she refused to open her till during a harrowing East Kilbride robbery.

The brute stormed the My Local Store wielding the blade and shoved the woman, 40, before grabbing her hair.

CCTV footage was released of the terrifying ordeal.

And shop bosses have put up a £1,000 reward for anyone with information about the assault with intent to rob.

The thug can be heard shouting 'open the f*****g till' but, bravely, the shopkeeper refuses even though he is shoving her while armed with the knife.

The footage from the store last month has been watched and shared thousands of times on social media.
