Sandi has escaped her old life; she’s shed her hijab and her family obligations to start a new one, alone. It’s been five years since she first stepped foot in America to save her life. She’s earned enough money to live comfortably, thanks to her artwork. But, just when she finally feels like she can start to relax and not jump at shadows, she believes her family is hot on her heels. Now she must trust the man who saved her years ago and ask him to do it once again.

Mitch risked it all to bring the young girl to America years ago. And when she shows up at his door in the middle of the night, grown up and no longer shrouded in her dark coverings, he’ll do everything he can to help her out. But dodging her family has gotten a lot harder this time and they might survive the revenge attempt, if he can keep his hands off her.

Years after being rescued from a horribly abusive situation being forced upon her, a young artist lets her guard down and finds herself on the run again from her family. She flees to the man who saved her before and they end up on the run again. This time the young girl is a young woman and ready to express her love for her knight, but is he ready to be loved? Great characters, intriguing plot and plenty of action and sweet tenderness to keep your heart beating. Another great installment in the Secret Series! I can't wait to see what happens next.

I received a copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. I love this series, it is perfect. Sandi has escaped from her life in India where her family was was having her marriage someone she didn't love and it was all for the money and position of their family. With the help if some men, Sandi is living in New York and doing what she loves and taking care of herself. Painting is what she loves and it helps her escape the past. When she is almost back to her apartment one day, she sees a black car parked on the opposite side of the road. And when she sees her cousin get out and head toward her apartment, she runs. Her father and cousin are there to take her back to India and face her punishment for running and ruining the family. She got to the only man that can help her. Mitchell Kovich doesn't remember her when she appears at his door. He thinks his friends has sent her to him. When he finally remembers her, he can't believe she has sought him out. Things happen and they are on the run. Suspense and the mystery of what will happen if her family gets to her. Mitch will protect her but who will protect his heart? Sandi has loved him since she first met him five years ago. Another great story from Jill Sanders and I loved it. Can't wait for more from her.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is book is part of a series and doesn't have to be read as such but the characters are intertwined through the series.

Sandi fleed to America 5 years earlier to get away from her family. She was helped by Mitch but suddenly she is on the run, being hunted by those that she left behind. Not knowing where else to go, she goes to Mitch.

I love this series and all of the books in it. I loved getting to read about Sandi and Mitch and watch them connect. This is probably on of my favorite couples and loved how the book ended. Great read!

★★★★★Secret Passions by Jill Sanders (Secret Series #4)

This was a Beta Read I was given in exchange for my honest opinion.

Mitchell and Sandi who were first brought up in Lasting Pride(Pride Series #4) are brought back together when Sandi's life is put in imminent danger. Will Mitch remember her? Or care enough to help her again? Will the same emotions come flooding back? Sandi's all grown up now, and things will never be the same.

Can't wait for the next installment.

Thanks to the author for another great edition to the Secret Series.

I read a book from Jill's Pride series prior to this one and thought it would be very similar. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not as much as I expected. Secret Passions had me a little closer to the edge of my seat with the mystery/suspense aspect. I loved watching Sandi and Mitch get to know each other and fall in love!

Thank you Jill for another great story! I look forward to reading the rest of the series!!

Sandi is on the run from her family in India, they were forcing her into a marriage that they had arraigned when she was seven years old.
Mitch helped her escape with the help if his friend Ethan, and moved her to the United States and began to sell her art work at his gallery under her new name.
Somehow her family found her and Sandi runs to Mitch for help again. Little did either if them know but they were in for the ride if their lives!!!

I Love the chemistry between Mitch and Sandi.

I really enjoyed reading this book and it's well worth the buy. Sandi is a very likeable character and has an inner strength she doesn't realize. Mitch is hopeless when he realizes just how much he truly feels for her. Being on the run from her family makes them more determined to enjoy their time together. The shocking ending will leave you breathless and you won't see it coming. It's just the right amount of romance and suspense.

Enjoyable story, quick read

Like others in this series, romance, sex, but not a lot of sex and some sort of intrigue to add to the mix!

Really enjoyed this book in the secret series. Sandi and Mitch have both been mentioned in previous books, so it was good to read their story.

Sandi had been smuggled out of India to save her from an arranged marriage, and really bad treatment from her prospective in-laws. She had been living her new life for 5 years and was enjoying being in the USA and all the freedom of choice that came with it. Unfortunately she never felt completely free as she kept looking out for her father and cousin who might be trying to find her. They would want to take her back to punish her for escaping.

Life takes a massive change in direction when Sandi spots her father and she takes off to find Mitch, the man who helped set up her new identity and life. He was the only person she could turn to. Will she ever be free of her past life?

Great story, lots of drama, a couple of twists to keep you guessing.

The romance was OK, but the math was terrible. Sandi was rescued days before her 18th birthday, on the night before she was going to be mutilated for upcoming arranged marriage to a man who bought her when she was 7 and he was in his 20s. In this book, that makes her 17 well past her 18th birthday, which must have taken place in the middle of her voyage to America. Five years later, she's still 22, because she never turned 18. And even though Mitch is months from his 32nd birthday, he's 10 years older than someone who should be 23, even though he's not 32 yet. So if events happened the way they were described in the previous book and this one, they're actually 8 to 9 years apart, but since authors and editors don't pay attention to stuff in their books, ages almost never stay consistent in a novel. Please check your math and previous books.

Just when Sandi started to feel safe, after five years into her new life, her family finds her. They are determined to punish her for leaving her family and obligations. She turns to her savior, Mitch, who helped rescue her, also the man she has dreamed about since that day. Mitch hasn’t seen or thought of her since that day. He needs to focus on keeping her safe, and not on the growing attraction he feels for Sandi, if he can…

Another great addition to this series!

Much of this story was boring to me. It seemed to lack vigor… or pizazz, in my opinion. Even, what I thought should have been a suspenseful ending, was instead lackluster.

I received this book from the author and the Making Connections group in exchange for a honest review.

This was an OK read for me. Very linear in storyline. Although, I did not guess who was really the villain. I really liked the ending. Supposedly, the heroine has not been around very many men in her life. So, it did not fit that she keeps pressuring the hero. Reminds me of Twilight, many times I wanted to slap Bella and tell her to let Edward be the gentleman he wanted to be. I wish their relationship would have had more build-up to it.

The Story: Sandi(the heroine) has been living in the United States for five years following her escape from her family. She is from India and escaped an arranged marriage among other things. Mitchell Rovich (the hero) sent Ethan (his friend) to India to rescue her five years ago. Sandi has turned into a successful artist and her agent Eve is the only person she has contact with at the agency that represents her.

One day after meeting with Eve, she is just about home and sees her father and her cousin. She panics and walks fifty blocks to Mitchell's place. She knocks on the door and when he opens it she barges in. He does not recognize her and assumes she is a prostitute. He had just got over a relationship and thinks one of his friends sent her. After awhile, his assumption is corrected and he remembers her. He tries to call Ethan, but he is unavailable so he has her stay with him. He now has to protect her from her family. Sandi has always thought about him and eventually their relationship develops.

The rest of the book deals with Sandi and Mitchell's HEA and the eventual confrontation with her family.

Sandi needed to escape because her family had arranged a marriage for her. Her new husband wasn't going to very kind to her and she was very young. She came to America and started a new life as an artist. 5 years later, she sees her father and cousin. She turns to the only person who can help her, Mitch. Mitch doesn't think he is a very good person and isn't sure he is the one to help Sandi. But he can't turn her away. He has to keep her safe.

Another great read

Another great read. Mitchel and Sandi what a mish match but totally works, though the kindness in Sandi and with Mitchel's experience of relationships I don’t know how they got together but glad they did and really glad of Sandi,s outcome with everything that had happened to her. Can’t wait to read Carter an Eve's book next

Every time I read the next book in the series I think "this is my favourite" and of course that's how I feel about this one. This book had a slightly different feel to it. It has the right amount of romance, sex, suspense and intrigue. I also didn't pick the ending which was nice.
