POST-GAME QUOTES
Head Coach Natasha Adair
“The beauty of this team is that you can coach them. The little things show how selfless this group is and how they're focused on what the team needs. Overall this is important because we needed this win. William & Mary is a tough team. They're balanced and filled with veterans. I'm just proud of the way we regrouped and found a way to win. It was a great team effort. Our girls expect to win and are playing to win. You saw them do it collectively as a team tonight. ”

“We've struggled in previous games with bad energy and lack of communication. We knew we couldn't let that happen tonight, and we didn't. We knew we had to keep our energy up. Hitting shots early tonight was important because it gave us confidence throughout the game.”

Sophomore Abby Gonzales
“We really talked about our energy and communication in practice this week. Those were things that we've lacked in games recently. We have a definite home court advantage because our fans are great. Our momentum really carried us and when it came down to close possessions, we focused on being disciplined defensively. We know if we can get one stop, we can convert offensively.”
