March 22, 2018

From left, Jessica Mehl, J.D., assistant dean for law admissions at The University of Toledo College of Law, Geoffrey Rapp, J.D., associate dean for academic affairs at The University of Toledo College of Law, Allen Hersel, Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs at Trine University, and Earl D. Brooks II, Ph.D., Trine University president, sign an agreement establishing a 3+3 pathway to a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree for Trine students. Trine students in several majors will have the option to finish their coursework at Trine after three years, with their first-year courses in The University of Toledo College of Law completing their bachelor’s degree at Trine. The agreement, the second such partnership at Trine, allows Trine students to complete a J.D. in six years of combined undergraduate and graduate work, rather than the traditional seven.
