Graduate Programs

Mahima in the Galleries

MassArt’s graduate students make up a diverse community of artists, designers, and educators, working together in state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of Boston. Intimate class sizes allow for mentorship with world-class faculty, and collaboration across disciplines is encouraged.

Graduate students work in a wide range of media, employing an array of strategies and approaches, and all programs share the common values of innovation, empathy, and social engagement. Technical advancement and practical exploration are grounded in an awareness of historical and global contexts; skills and theoretical frameworks are developed side by side.

MassArt graduate students have opportunities to exhibit work both on and off campus, and to connect with internationally renowned visiting artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and scholars.
