WaykiChain Co-Founder & CEO Gordon Gao: We Step up Ecosystem’s Wellbeing with Super Node Election
On October 25, at 2020 DeFi Global Ecosystem Summit and WaykiChain Ecosystem Partner Conference, WaykiChain Co-Founder & CEO Gordon Gao gave the speech titled “Exploration and Practice of Public Chain Implementation”. Mr. Gao announced that WaykiChain will launch Super Node Election to step up its Ecosystem’s Wellbeing.
WaykiChain positions itself as an integrated DeFi public chain and got noticed in the market. Due to the increasing number of industry players wishing to participate in the construction of WaykiChain ecology, the project decided to launch the Super Node Election on January 5, 2021, which happens to be the third anniversary of WaykiChain’s launch.
WaykiChain is a public chain project started in 2017. It adopts DPoS + pBFT consensus. For the sake of the overall performance and consensus efficiency, it initially set up 11 Super Nodes through voting. They generate a new block every 3 seconds. The past 3 years of operation have proved that WaykiChain’s consensus has viable performance balancing, efficiency, and security.
With WaykiChain’s increasing industry weight, more crypto institutions follow the project and express the desire to join its ecology construction. Thus, to further improve the security and robustness of its consensus, to allow more outstanding global blockchain communities to build the public chain ecosystem together, to enrich the ecosystem, and to spread WaykiChain’s vision, mission, and value, on its third anniversary, WaykiChain will start the Super Node Election. WaykiChain’s DPoS + pBFT consensus will have 10 more Super Nodes (total number: 21), all selected by voting.
