Woman gets life for stabbing lover to death after finding text messages sent to other women on his phone
Lindsey Gabriel, 31, was jailed for life after she inflicted a single stab wound that penetrated 35-year old James Field's ribs and pierced his heart
A MUM has been jailed for life after murdering her boyfriend in a row about him messaging women.
Lindsey Gabriel, 31, stabbed James Field, 35, and he was found bleeding on the pavement outside her home in Bugle, Cornwall.
He had suffered a single stab wound that penetrated his ribs and pierced his heart. Mr Field died later that night.
The trial heard a blood-stained kitchen knife used to stab Mr Field was found by police stuffed down a drain to the side of a suspect's property.
In a text on the day he died last September, she warned him he “did not know what she was capable of”.
She also told a friend that he had been cheating, adding: "Who does he think I am Snow White or Batman? I'm Lindsey f*cking Gabriel".

Gabriel had earlier vandalised Mr Field's car that was parked on her drive, daubing words such as 'cheat' and 'player' before arranging for it to be towed away.
Judge Mrs Justice Juliet May said the pair had a “tempestuous” relationship and, though Gabriel acted on spur of the moment, she must have intended to do serious harm.
It took a jury less than four hours to convict her of one count of murder at Truro Crown Court.
Gabriel, who told Truro crown court that Mr Field had stabbed himself, must serve at least 14 years.
