Rock Me #5

Bad for Me

Rate this book
I’m not supposed to crave the drummer of the hottest new rock act or notice his tortured green eyes. I shouldn’t care that he shies away from everyone. I’m a journalist and I have one job to do.

Get the story.

But selling his secrets for tomorrow’s headlines would not only ruin him, it would destroy me. Yesterday, I had a future. Today, I have a choice—career suicide or protect a drummer who hates me.

Wow! I was totally blown over by the intense, poetic writing of Lee Piper's Bad For Me. Every single feeling Tobias had, I felt it all the way down to my curling toes. This book was incredibly hot, powerfully emotional, and thought provoking. I love when a character who's not just broken, but completely shattered in every sense of the word, can find his way to love with the right person on on his team. Mae was everything Tobias didn't know he needed. This book captivated me and I devoured it in one sitting. If you love dark, intense, and emotional sexy romances, then this book is for you! Five BROKEN FOR THE BAD BOY Stars!

4.5 Stars

It seems like I’ve been waiting forever for Tobias’ book. Ever since he was first introduced I needed his story. I didn’t know what to expect, and I never imagined I’d be pulled down the rabbit hole and consumed by the darkness.

Tobias is a troubled musician who is haunted by his demons. There’s so much darkness inside him that the only way to tame it is lashing out and hurting the people around him. He’s a broken man who thrives on control. His one and only care in the world is music and playing drums. But when Mae enters his world, something shifts and the life that Tobias knew is about to be rearranged.

Mae is a journalist who is writing a story on Tobias’ band. She’s relentless and will stop at nothing to get the scoop on Tobias. She knows there’s more to him than what he lets people see, and she’s determined to get to the heart of who he is. But Mae has no idea what she’d be getting herself into or how much Tobias’ darkness would call to her.

Mae and Tobias’ relationship is anything but sweet. Their connection is undeniable and there’s no question they’re made for each other. I was addicted to Mae and Tobias and their crazy, passionate fiery, and dark chemistry. At times these two were a train wreck, but I couldn’t look away. And just like Mae, I was drawn to the darkness and couldn’t get enough.

Bad for Me completely consumed me. This story gripped me from the very beginning. It’s angsty, dark, brutal, raw and emotional. Tobias’ story isn’t easy, but with Mae’s strength and her shouldering some of his pain it’s amazing to see. I absolutely loved these two and this heartbreakingly beautiful story.

Wow, what a book! Bad for Me by Lee Piper is dark, depraved, angsty and hot as hell.

Tobias is a broken man filled with so much pain and hate. Nobody other than his bandmates know of his mental struggles, but even they don't know everything. Enter Mae. She is a relentless journalist with a lot riding on the line. She will stop at nothing to find out the truth of what really happened on the night of the Rising Stars competition. But will the sexy AF drummer cost her everything that she has worked so hard for?

Be warned this is not a light and fluffy read. It is intense, raw, brutal and dark. At times it was hard to read, but that didn't stop me from devouring it. I loved Tobias and Mae! He pushed her and she would push back just as hard. She didn't let him break her. And their chemistry? It was absolute FIRE. These two are a perfectly imperfect pair.

Bad for Me is one hell of a wicked ride. I simply could not turn the pages fast enough. If you're looking for a deliciously dark, emotional and unconventional rock star romance, then please be sure and pick this book up. Five stars for Tobias, Mae and Bad for Me!

It feels like forever since waiting for Tobias’ book. Ever since he was first introduced I have needed his story. I didn’t know what to expect...but this book, this story. It is entirely all consuming. The intensity and the darkness in this story is completely gut wrenching.

I was riveted by Mae and Tobias’ crazy, hot, passionate and intense chemistry. It was so addictive, and reading at how Mae got under Tobias' skin that way, was mesmerising. Their relationship is anything but hearts and flowers. Their connection is undeniable and undoubtedly made for each other. At times, it was hard to read, but that didn't stop me from devouring it.

This story gripped me from the start. It’s angsty, extremely dark, raw and so very emotional. It’s not an easy read by any stretch of the imagination, however there’s light and strength which was wonderful too see. I absolutely love these two and their heartbreakingly beautiful story.

Dark and raw feelings between a tortured soul as Tobias and a woman that tried to save her inheritance at any cost. Their story is not your usual love story but if you like dark steamy scenes this is definitely for you.

Holy Shitballs Batman what a story!

This one feels like a punch to the chest in the best possible way. The kind of storytelling that has you gasping out loud and squirming in anticipation.

Tobias is dominance and filth rolled into one delicious package. He’s definitely Lee’s darkest hero to date and I fell for him hard.

This one isn’t an easy read. It’s not a hearts and flowers kind of love story but I have to say I absolutely devoured it!

"One look. That's all it takes. And I'm his."

Girl, I felt it too! Confession...when I first met the drummer in a previous book...I had no clue what was simmering below the surface. Damn! He's all dark and deep and damaged. I'd almost say beyond repair, but that was before he met her.

She's the last thing he needs at this time in his life, at least that's what he thinks when she shows up. His body has other ideas. It wakes the hell up. He fights the pull and pushes and pushes and pushes her. He has secrets that he wants to be kept far away from the beautiful journalist. He insults her and provokes her and guess what? She's badass and refuses to run away with her tail between her legs.

Are you intrigued yet? Good. *patting myself on the back*

Bad for Me was oh so good for me. Exactly what I needed to take my mind off my life and allow me to escape into an exciting world with a rude rock star and a strong woman who could see past his bad behavior. His painful journey was heartbreaking and inspiring and the author kept me on the edge from start to finish, hanging by a thread, knowing what I wanted to happen and worried it wouldn't.

I'm loving the Rock Me series soooo much. I know there's at least one more, and I can't wait to spend time with him and the woman that convinces the manwhore to change his wicked ways. The line forms here...

Dark. Dirty. & Addicting! Three perfect words to describe Bad For Me, the sixth book in the Rock Me series by Lee Piper. I love the wide range of characters in this series, and Tobias is the darkest of them all. His depravity is unmatched in this series! Dark romance readers rejoice - this one is for you!

Tobias' brokenness goes beyond what I expected, and I was pleasantly surprised to see something so dark from Lee Piper! She takes this character from the lowest of lows, and showed him how to love through heroine, Mae. I loved that Piper was unafraid of showing us the shattered depths of Tobias' soul. Her writing was unapologetic and raw, and utterly real in Tobias' struggles. Books with a bully element walk a fine line, and author Lee Piper wrote this aspect artfully well. From an author that writes predominantly from a female POV, I thought the window into Tobias' perspective was essential, and written to perfection! This book is sinfully hot, and a scorch level on the heat factor. Tobias' dirty mouth will set you on fire for sure!

Bad For Me can be read as a standalone, but I believe it's best enjoyed with knowledge of the series earlier characters.

Somebody needs to explain me, what happened here!!!

I was so consumed by this story that it broke my heart when I read the words "The End" on the last page but it was worth the journey.

Lee Piper definitely exceeded my expectations with this story. It was a rollercoaster of emotions from the very beginning. One you can’t seem to control.
Bad for Me is an unexpected book that will test your boundaries. It will gut you, break you, enchant you and put you back together in the most delicious painful way.

“The rest of your life is a long time,” I whisper. “Are you sure you’re up for it?” Tobias traces my tears with his tongue, licking away the salt. “I’m sure. You’re the sunshine after the motherfucking rain. I’ve been waiting a long time for the clouds to part, sweetheart, and you’re my reward.”

Tobias is a complex character. Most can even say, he is an anti-hero. He is dominant, demanding, wild, reckless and he is not afraid to make you BEG. He is not perfect. Oooh, no! He is way far from that, but he knows, deep down, his life needs a change. Something that can challenge him and push him to do MORE. Crossing paths with Mae was exactly what he needed in a world he felt lost.

Our hearts beat in tandem as our souls align.

I loved Mae. She is passionate, relentless, caring and unpredictable. I was really surprised about her and I think she was the perfect partner for Tobias. He needed someone as strong as Mae was to beat the odds and find the perfect balance.

Their chemistry is off the charts and the unique bond they have, make this whole story even more addictive and utterly amazing.

I totally recommend it 🔥

Well Wow! I was really looking forward to Drummer Tobias' story following his dramatic introduction at the start of the Rock Me series, but I hadn't expected such a dark and damaged soul who I think even surprises himself by his own depravity at times in this story.

This is a journey of pain, punishment, realization and ultimately, love for our broken battle worn anti-hero, and he definitely fits that description early in the book in his interaction with rock journalist Mae, who is counting on getting the goods on Tobias in order to score a super story that will please her editor and gain her the necessary funds to but back her grandparent's house; a home that holds her heart.

These two clash from the outset. Tobias's walls securely locked to the news hound who he sees as the enemy; but an enemy who has also drawn his eye and awakened something inside him he's not prepared to pursue.
Their sparring is tempered with undeniable chemistry and it's not long before their clashes are physical and unstoppable.

Tobias is downright cruel and so far from appealing at the start I couldn't fathom him changing and not until the end did I find anything to love in him, but find it I did and it was almost a mercurial transformation, and in all honestly I found the time line a little rushed for such a mental and emotional breakthrough.

This is largely an emotional, sexual story as their explore their boundaries and work through their frustrations and issues on one another, each discovering something of themselves and the other, it's a Clash of Titans match of flesh and lust, that burns off the page and is impossible to put down!

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I didn't really know what to expect. This book is very twisty and mind twisty and a very raw read and a real rock star romance.

Tobias is a very broken man who doesn't let anyone inside and makes it extremely difficult for Mae to get anything out of him. He doesn't care who he hurts and doesn't care what people think of him.
Mae is a journalist and is trying to work with Tobias and get a story about the band.
Mae is a very determined individual and goes right after what she wants and has alot of strength inside her.
These two were connected immediately and they have very strong chemistry between them both. They are both a push and pull together and the passion between them is sizzling.

This book is a very dark romance book and is a very powerful read and this book is a very hot and steamy read. This author writes characters so great and so deep that you can't help but read on to see them and find out the journey they are on. This book is full of secrets and shocks and this author writes great. My only thing was I did felt at times that this book is a tad repetitive in the story line at times but is still a great read.

Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read a copy of this book.
This book is out now.

"Tobias isn't the man for me. I know this. And yet.... The pieces fall into place."

Dark, Gritty & Brutally Honest... Those are just a few ways to describe Bad for Me. Mae and Tobias's story isn't pretty and sometimes hard to read but it was real... two beautifully broken people finding their way to each other; one life changing & unexpected connection.

Tobias has kept secrets, lives with his demons daily and has absolutely no time for a nosy reporter. & Mae just wants the truth, she wants to uncover what really happened the finale night of Rising Star and gain some publicity for a band she's truly passionate about but Mae's got secrets too and she's put all of her eggs in getting this story/Tobias's story.... but can they survive the truth once it comes out? These two challenge each other, push each other and ignite a passion in one another that is unique, possessive & heartbreakingly beautiful.

Lee Piper put her heart into the pages of Bad for Me and you can tell in every single word. I cannot say enough how absolutely spectacular this book is and it's my favorite it the series thus far.... 💜

I did not expect this. This story is so dark and intense. Tobias and Mae are made for each other, they complement each other in every way possible.

Tobias dreams are shattered. He lost the competition Rising Star with his band. He lost his, supposedly, first and true love Shiloh to the drummer of a rivaling band and the winner of Rising Star. And he lost his joy for life. At this low point of his life he meets Mae, a journalist, who hopes to save her livelihood with writing a story about Tobias and the band and the circumstances that lead to loosing the competition.

Tobias is furious, he doesn't want to speak to Mae, or anyone else, about his life and why he gave up. He's angry with the world and with himself - and with Mae. But he's also fascinated by her and the way she reacts to his behavior.

Mae knows there's more to the story because of the vehemence Tobias and his band members refuse to speak about the fateful night. But she's not giving up and so they collide and it's a beautiful disaster. Dark, angry, intense and so very bad!

Bad for Me by Lee Piper is a heart-wrenching story of a troubled musician haunted by his demons.

Tobias, is a broken man who thrives on control. He walks around as though nothing phases him that is until Mae enters his world.

Mae, the relentless journalist is there at every turn wanting the scoop on what makes Tobias tick. She is drawn to the man who is adored by the millions, his detached demeanor, but she knows there is more to him meets the eye. She is determined to get to the heart of who he is even though he might cost her everything she has worked hard for.

Bad for Me is a far cry from a sweet romance. It is raw, brutal, dark story that touches the reader in ways that allows them to get to the heart of who Tobias is.

Tobias and Mae are perfect! They challenge each other; feed off each other's energy.

Love is not always sweet, it can be brutal, leaving us with scars that might not be physically visible, but one thing remains true is that in whatever form it comes it will make us feel alive when we are opened to letting it in.

Awesome job Lee Piper! Highly recommend!

WOW WOW WOW...

Lee has done it again, just when I think that her writing cant get any better, there it is, this is the best one yet, the intricate way she writes the words, the story that pulls you in, holds you there because you wouldnt want to be anywhere else but right in that moment.

Tobias is EVERYTHING!! He had my heart from the very beginning, the broken man who hates everyone and everything made me love him right from the start.
I love Mae too, the little spitfire who never thorght she would want what she did.

If I could erase my memory and read this again and again I would, 5 stars is no where near where this book should be ranked.

It broke me in the most beautiful way.

Original, Intense deliciously dark and absolutely fantastic! I was captivated from the start and read straight through with my heart firmly gripped in Lee Piper’s breathtaking and gut-punching story.

Tobias is a complex, broken, tortured, angry bad boy. Having met him in the previous book, I had no idea what was lying below the surface. In this book, I found myself as entranced by him and his actions as much as Mae found herself undeniably captivated by him. I guess that says a lot about the alluring and powerful impact of Lee Piper’s words!

Mae was relentless, and although she had her own experiences and reasons to pursue a story the pull and undeniable chemistry she feels toward Tobias has her questioning herself and her desires. The lure that she was hooked on by him was palpable and undeniable.

I was caught in the web that was intricately laid out by Lee in her extremely powerful and emotional story. I give it more than passionate, mind blowing Stars!

Mae knows she needs one shot to prove herself as a journalist and get a good story so she can buy her grandparents townhouse where she was raised. Unfortunately, she has risked everything on this job and now she is crossing her fingers that she can get an interview.
Tobias is a drummer in a rock band that just came in second in a reality show. He is trying to put the pieces of his life back together after a bad breakup with his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany, he’s been shafted by his parents and he screwed up a million dollar contract. To say he’s bitter and resentful is the least you could say.
When Mae hopes to interview the last person in the band, Tobias, she is shocked at how rude and mean to her. He demeans her in a way she never has experienced before. Will Mae stick with the hopes of getting an interview and keeping her grandparents house or will she be forced to give up the interview and lose everything?
This was a good book and I really enjoyed it but I was shocked at how cruel Tobias was, especially at the beginning.
I loved that Mae was going after what she wanted and I knew why she was working so hard to get the “dream” interview but I was heartbroken at how much she risked for it. I wanted her to gte her grandparents house as I know that was something that I had wanted at one time too. It bothered me that her boss had such little faith in her and wasn’t really helping her out at all. I think Mae’s main disadvantage was in her looks as it appeared that she would do anything for the article as she was extremely attractive and dressed a little provocatively.
Tobias was such a jerk from his first interaction with Mae and then through much of the book. He held everything that he was going through against Mae before even talking to her and listening to anything she said. Gradually you learn more about his past and what he is hiding but he was just so mean at the beginning and really didn’t deserve an ounce of sympathy from Mae for what he put her through.
It was obvious how much chemistry was between Mae and Tobias but I had a hard time with Mae giving in to Tobias when he was just using her and struggling with himself.
It broke my heart at the beginning when Tobias purposely breaks Mae and I hated that he didn’t want anyone else near her but continued to use and abuse her because he could. I was shocked when Tobias realizes he is going to lose Mae and what he does. My heart did thaw some towards Tobias at that time!
The end was great and I loved the creation of the Black and Blue Music Festival!

Tobias & Mae. Dark, raw & honest. 5 Stars

This is a long-anticipated book, and I’ve been stalking Lee Piper in the worst possible way because HELLO, Rockers are my kryptonite. I more than love the Rockstar trope, I actively obsess over it, and since I’ve discovered Ms. Piper’s books, she has become my latest author crush.

Bad For Me is a little heavier in content than usual and could be at times a challenging read for some, but I have to say that I’ve found it’s Ms. Piper’s best work to date. I doubt that I can write a review worthy of this book. She has poured more of herself than before into these words, and I just want to do her some sort of justice to convince others to read Tobias and Mae’s story and see the beauty in it, and love it as much as I did.

It’s written in my favourite dual POV, and in hearing Tobias’ vitriolic animosity absolutely emanating from the virtual pages, I got to see that he was in a really bad place. And, like a wounded animal backed into a corner, he was fighting just to hang onto any semblance of perceived control of his anger and sanity. Hurt and pain were eating away at his soul, and those who should have had his back, stabbed it instead.

I loved Mae’s strength and her inner honesty with herself. She was perfect for Tobias and the chemistry between them was as hot as all hell! If there was one chapter that held me in Ms Piper’s thrall, it was Mae’s admission to herself that it was Tobias’s dark drum beats that had initially called her to the up and coming band. That in discovering a side of herself that was attracted to him on a base level and wanted the dark side of him, she realised that sometimes love isn’t hearts and flowers, but dark, brutal and raw. Some might not see her actions as a strength, she needed to be strong enough for the both of them.

Wow, what a hot and intense read. I hit it in one sitting, and I sobbed tears of relief and resolution at the end. I absolutely and highly recommend this book to all who love those broken and deeply hurt rockers and the partners who complete them. This book deserves more than 5 Stars.

Well alrighty then...

This was not what I was expecting. I knew that this author would weave me in her spell because there is a lure to the way that she crafts a sentence. It is poetic and visceral. Even when there is a touch of darkness that should have felt depraived or made me feel uncomfortable it was mesmerizing. I am in awe of how she can make me feel with words the way music does with sound.

Tobias had a brutality to him that I wasn't expecting. The baggage he was carrying alone should have been enough to push Mae away but his cruelty even more. Yet, there was beauty in that cruelty and I was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. I guess that is the masochist in me because it was delicious. I wanted more, so I could understand why Mae did too. I found myself irritated at times because this amazing story was told in a short time frame. I wanted it spread out more and have their animosity explored more as they fought this attraction to one another and the reasons behind that attraction. That could just be me wanting everything in a pretty bow too. The steamy times in this book? YEAH, Some of the hottest ones that I have read. The chemistry, the brutality, and grittiness of it. HOT. HOT. HOT.

That being said, I did struggle with a few parts. I wanted to know more about Mae and her backstory. There was room here to expand on in my opinion especially if her being alone was why the connection with Tobias was as strong as it was. I also struggled, REALLY STRUGGLED, with Shiloh in this story. Had I not already loved her in her story, I am not sure that I would have even liked her in this one. I had to keep reminding myself that this was Tobias and Mae's story to keep her from spoiling it because, trust me when I say this, they deserved to have this moment.

Even with my issues, I still LOVED this story. It reminded me why I fell in love with her all over again. I almost wish they all had this edge to them because it truly was magic. I am looking forward to whatever this author has coming next.

Lee Piper has broke me once again in Bad For Me. This angsty, intense and sexy rockstar romance gave me ALL THE FEELS. It has all my weaknesses. A broken bad boy hero. A feisty heroine. And breathtaking chemistry of a twisted, depraved and deliciously dirty love story.

Tobias is an enigma. He is full of contradictions. Yes, he is an a$$hole. The proverbial tortured musician with miles long issues. He is angry at the world. His heart is in a toxic state with hatred, self loathing and mistrust. Yet my heart bleeds for him. Lee Piper expertly gave him broken edges and abundant pain to make me want to heal him, soothe him and take away all his sufferings. He is incredibly gorgeous and oh my heart, his dirty mouth was the death of me. He is arrogant, violent, deviant and someone who made me love and hate at the same time. His passion is destructive. His pain spills into his love. And Mae will make him feel the difference unexpectedly.

Mae has invested her life's savings to write this exclusive story about Tobias' band. She desperately needs a great story as the payout will help her save her grandparents' house. Shiloh and Jasper are helping her but Tobias gave her nothing but animosity and indifference. But some dark part of her soul craved the pain Tobias gave her. She craves for his brand of love. I warn you that their chemistry isn't a pleasant or easy one. Tobias pushed her and broke her and tortured her. But she didn't back down. She is so strong and fierce. She took and took his toxicity and cleaned his heart. Their chemistry is raw and explosive. It's made of literal blood, sweat and tears. And I am spellbound. It's fithy. It's heartbreaking. It's mind-numbing. The writing is absolutely phenomenal. The author captured the enemies to lover part so perfectly!

Bad For Me by Lee Piper ripped my heart out, pushed my boundaries and left me breathless. It's an angst fest through and through with scorching hot passion!

Wow! This book. This story. It completely consumes you. The darkness in this story guts you yet keeps you wanting more.

Reading this book, I can tell that this author put her heart and soul into it. I can feel the pain she wrote on every single page. And I can't begin to tell you how I felt that pain, those words. Tobias' and Mae's story falls into the darkness where desire crosses, a mixture of pain and pleasure... and love.

This story gripped me from the very beginning. I've been intrigued by Tobias' story ever since I met him, and through this book, I've fallen in love with him and his shattered pieces. I knew he had a story, I just didn't expect this.

This story wasn't was what I was expecting at all. Tobias' tenacity and desire for destruction, Mae trying to hold on to everything she has... Including Tobias. I loved their crazy, hot, passionate and dark chemistry. I was drawn to it like a moth is to a flame. It was addictive, and seeing Mae crawling under Tobias' skin that way, was very, very addictive. It was so hot, even the fire emoji is an understatement.

One theme that runs through this book is mental health. It screams how its pain is invisible, destructive, raw, but nothing to be ashamed of because it isn't. It was raw. Tobias' story was raw, emotional, painful and dark. It was dealt with honestly and unashamedly. It was dealt with incredibly.

Bad For Me simply consumed me. I couldn't tear my eyes from it. It was a real, it held true to the darkness that the demons of mental health can play. It was vicious, it was dark, it was passionate and fiery and showed hope in the dark times. It was an incredible read, and it's a book that will stay with me for a very long time.

Highly recommended!

(PS: I need Jasper's story ASAP. I think I'm slightly obsessed with him. And when I mean slightly, I mean a LOT.)

Wow!
Bad For Me is mind blowing, poetic and intense. I feel like fire is coming from Tobias and Mae when ever they are together. Their intensity is strong, raw and at first scary toxic.

First of all, I want to point out that I haven't read Shiloh story so I feel there's missing hole in the first few chapter. Since this book is a stand-alone but interconnected with Lie to Me. You may read that book first but really, after few chapter in and the intensity of Tobias and Mae, I didn't feel that hole anymore.

Bad For Me is fast pace. Tobias dirty mouth, cruelity sadism dominant is intense. But the feeling of him misunderstand is so strong in me, I keep clenching my heart. Waiting for the other shoes to drop.

Mae... I say she's strong heroin. Desperate and smart, her strength didn't come from fighting tooth and nail and be fierce like fire. Oh yes, she's strong in her acceptance, in the way she look at Tobias, in the way she surrender. In the way she let go of her pride and see the real Tobias.

And when Tobias honesty in what happened to him, Mae strenght to help shoulder some of his pain, it's amazing to see. His pain and suffering is eye opener for me. Finish it in one sitting, Tobias road from hell to finally able to find the love he's craving is humbling.

I have never have a book get me conflicted. Lee Piper writing is...in this book feel personal. It's deep. It hurt to read at some point. At times I feel the pace are too fast. At times I feel the connection Mae and Tobias have need more time to the level of I love you. But then the epilogue. That epilogue falls perfectly. For me this book, the characters, their story is personal story of lots of people that need to be read.

I edit this review for I'm not sure my words can do justice for Tobias and Mae and Lee Piper as author in the first draft. I'm not even sure this edit one can do better.

I can only hope you give time to read their story and maybe love them as I do

"I don't bother filling the void. Instead, I let it consume me. Lust, anger, agony, and thirst stalk toward me like a punch I know is coming. I brace for it. Taunt it."

5 Bad for Me Stars!!! Lee definitely killed it with this book!!!

I think we've all been waiting for Tobias' story for a long time and let me just say it was worth the wait!! Tobias' is a complicated man with demons and secrets. Desperate to keep them close to him, he doesn't like to let anyone in... especially a nosy reporter. Mae, the nosy reporter, is just a girl who's passionate about a band and looking for the truth/answers. And the last thing she wants is to get under Tobias' skin, but that's exactly what she does. And just like Tobias, Mae has demons too. These two together are a ball of fire, it's intense, crazy, dark and raw. And I dare you to not root for these two!!

Bad For Me was definitely worth the wait and it's packed full of intense chemistry and just the right about of darkness. I've been obsessed with this series since book one and I'm happy with the direction each of these characters have taken! I can't recommend this book enough!

Pain, hopelessness, and utter defeat can bring the strongest man to his knees. Loveless, conniving, and malicious parents can cause any boy to grow up into an emotionless man.

Tobias always had a difficult home life but believed his band would pull him through the darkness. What he didn't expect was a bandmate being the one who pushes him over the edge. One car ride is all it took to alter his future. One car ride is all it took to cause pain that'll stay a lifetime. One moment of utter hopelessness caused him to close his heart for good...then Mae stormed into his life.

Mae comes into the lives of the bandmates hoping to catch a story that will save her home and her memories. She never expected she would find a deep and twisted connection with Tobias. As Mae struggles with the truth of losing everything, she continues to fight against her feelings toward Tobias...but he has other plans.

Bad For Me by Lee Piper is a heart-wrenching, steamy rockstar romance that surpasses any rockstar romance I've read. The poetic way this novel is written causes readers to feel the pain the characters are drowning under. The connection between the reader and the characters is almost tangible.
This is the perfect book for anyone who loves a passionate, dark love story that will keep you glued to your spot until you reach the end.

This book is dark, depraved and oh so delicious!!! You will devour every dirty word and keep coming back for more!!

Buckle up ladies and get ready for one helluva ride!!!

Tobias is not only scarred physically but deeply emotionally scarred as well. His band mates think they know the full story as to how dark his emotions run but some things are not meant to be shared. Now there's a sexy little minx of a reporter who wants to know it all. But no one will ever know the true limit of his torment.

Mae has put it all on the line for this one story. If she can't get Tobias to talk she will lose everything. She isn't one to back down and she won't let any man twist her up and make her cross lines but why is he she can't stop the cravings the sexy drummer manages to pull from her with just one look.

When these two crash into each other it's a full on atomic bomb. Tobias loves pushing every one of Mae's buttons and loves to watch her burn. Mae can't believe the the things she lets him do to her and still she can't walk away. No matter how far down he pushes her she will always get back up and push back even stronger.

Are they just meant to crash and burn or will they both get the story they deserve to have.
