    The treatment options for Peyronie's disease remain a therapeutic dilemma for the urologist. Historically, different modes of energy transfer including orthovoltage radiation, ultrasonography, short-wave diathermy, laser therapy, and shock-wave lithotripsy have been used to treat Peyronie's disease.5,37,69 None of these methods currently are recommended.
