Fates Reborn #2

Twisted Fates

Rate this book
Raz

That first year in Zion, I was happy. With my painful past behind me, things were finally going in the right direction. Dominic and Lilly came along, showing me what my life was missing. How good it could be. How they could each look deep into my soul and set it on fire. And then they each left. The years passed, and I had only the memories of what we’d shared and the family I had made for myself. Fate had other ideas for me though.

Dominic

Leaving Zion after that summer wasn’t as easy as I’d thought it would be. But, as the days turned to months and then years, I thought about it less. The memories we’d made together–the look in her eye, the smell of her skin, the taste of her on my tongue–slowly started to fade. Now I’m going back, but I know the man I’ve become would be too much for my doll. I’m too dominant, too dark, too brutal. And then I see her, and in no time at all, I know I will stop at nothing to be part of her life, twisted up in her forever.

Lilly

That summer in Zion has been the thing I’ve used to measure everything against. Even though it’s been five years since I’ve seen her, I knew I wouldn’t be able to resist her when I returned. A few weeks is all it takes for fate to bring us together. Seeing not only her, but the family she’s built for herself blindsides me. Not with jealousy, just a burning need to be a part of her life. Twisted up in her once again.

GM Scherbert - she's one of my go to authors since her books never fail to draw me in. there's something about her stories that are incredibly realistic that makes me WANT to keep reading, and it sometimes feels like as though you don't get that often in books. I get it that book are a work of fiction - i totally do. But there's also that one part of me that craves realism since i get the whole fiction aspect when i read those science fiction romances that seem to have exploded in the best of ways in 2018.

I read Unbroken Fates, the first instalment of this series, last year and it had broken me. I had more than one bout of serious ugly cries, so i was excited to get my hands on Twisted Fates, especially considering that this author when beyond anything i've read from her before and had two women fall in love and then a man and a woman fall in love, all three in a trio that works because they all draw what they need from one another in ways that is incredibly fascinating. Here is Raz, our girl of the hour, Lily, and Dom. Lily and Dom aren't a couple since Lily is strictly women only, but Raz is with both. Why is this fascinating? Because more often than not, you'll have all three have something going between one another, and not just for the benefit of one.

I loved reading how different each dynamic is, how Raz acts around Lily and how she acts around Dominic - but most of all, watching how all three are together, now that people is something to behold. I loved this book, i really did. But while i loved finding out how they started, i loved more reading their present and their future.

My only hold up was when i was truly into it, really getting into how Dom comes back from his tour in the army and Lily's rekindling of her relationship with Raz, we'd end up getting thrown back in time to that summer - which was a buzz kill for me, or rather, it felt like i was getting hit with a bucket of iced water only to have to start that slow burn once again. It's not necessarily a bad thing, because if nothing else, this book was that perpetual and never ending boner from start to finish, but damn, i can be that impatient woman and want to finish now without having to deal with blue balls.

Was this book worth it? Absolutely. I simply can't wait for the next book from this author in the future!

WOW!!! loved.

Raz was truly an amazing selfless person. Some reading this might judge her for keeping from Dom that he had a kid but looking at the circumstance I felt it was such a selfless act. She knew he was overseas fighting for our country and did not need this on his mind while he was trying to stay alive. She planted the seed of love for her daughter’s father in their little girl. Dom’s daughter loved him even though she did not know him. He was not a stranger to her even though she never met him. I loved that about his story.

This story was a little different. It was sort of a MFF book. In this book though Raz is the only one that was having sex with two different people. Raz loved Lily and Raz loved Dom. Each gave her something she needed in a relationship. Dom and Lily never had plan having sex with each other but they did not mind coming together for Raz.

I can not imagine being in love with two different people and then to lose them at the same time. Raz must of felt so alone. I am glad Nick and Alex were there for her during her time of need.

This was a great story and so happy I got a chance to read the book.

This is the second book in this amazing series, and is Raz, Lilly and Dominic’s story. Raz had had an abusive home life, and she finds the courage to leave and start over in Zion. There she meets Lilly and Dominic, and they spend a summer together, before all going their separate ways. Now 5 years later fate has brought them all back together. No spoilers; this is a must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a well written flawless story, which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I look forward to reading more of this authors’ work, and highly recommend for all readers.

An unusual read for me but an enjoyable one. Raz, Dom and Lilly have a second chance to build on what they once shared and to become a family they were destined to be. Usually I’m not one for M/F/F reads but when offered the chance I took it, the heat factor is through the roof and the passion just as high. We also catch glimpses of others we’ve met from the Devils Iron MC series, which was awesome. Great job!

Raz was a young woman when she escaped an abusive home life, and set out to make it on her own in Zion. Raz was going to be in control of her own destiny, her own life. Working at a tattoo shop might not have been the best fit for everyone, but it suited Raz just fine. Everything was going fine, until that summer...

That summer when Raz met the other two pieces of her soul, Lily and Dominic. Lily and Dominic filled the dark spaces in Raz's heart, making her feel loved and wanted. They spent the summer worshiping Raz at every opportunity, never letting her feel alone or lonely.... but it was only for the summer.... Dominic was heading back overseas to be with his unit, and Lily was heading to California, chasing her own dreams. Yes, it was just for the summer... until...

Lily went to California; going from lover to lover, but never finding what she had found with Raz. Thoughts of Raz consumed Lily's thoughts. She compared every lover to Raz, and each one came up short. Haunted by her memories, Lily had to return to Zion... return to Raz.... to see if what they once had was real and enduring. Yes, Lily was returning to Zion, to Raz...

Dominic has spent four long years overseas, in the desert, attempting to avoid death and ignore the sheer desolation that surrounds him. The only thing that kept him going was his memories of Raz, his Doll; that and a faded photograph was all he had to sustain him. He vowed to return someday to Zion, and to his Doll...

Raz's decision to have both Lily and Dominic in her life that summer changed her destiny irrevocably. When she learned the consequences of her actions, Raz had no choice but to grow up even faster. Unable to contact Dominic, not knowing where Lily was, Raz faces an unplanned pregnancy as best she can. Raz knows that someday, Dominic will find out, and there will be hell to pay... but there was never talk of any kind of future between them; no soft words of endearment or suggestions of love. But somehow, some way, Raz would find herself once again twisted up in Dominic and Lily, and perhaps, this time, it might be forever....

Intriguing twists and turns, with frequent flashbacks, Twisted Fates kept surprising me. Every time I thought I had it figured out, it proved me wrong. This is an extremely graphic, sexual read, with heavy BDSM influence. I found it difficult to read at times, as it isn't my usual choice of reading material.

I love this author's writing style and this book was no different. A bit different to my normal genre but I still enjoyed it

Raz escaped an abusive home life when she was young and then she decided to make it on her own in Zion. She would control her destiny, she's the one who would control her life, nobody else. She worked at a tattoo shop and it suited her fine. Her life was her own until summer came around.
The summer she met Lily and Dominic. They were the missing pieces she needed in her life. They made her feel whole, but it wasn't meant to last than more than that summer.
Lily left and went to California, having different lovers but she didn't find what she had with Raz. She compared everyone to Raz and they never measured up. So after 5 years she decided to return back to Zion.
Dominic spent his time in the desert, trying to avoid death. And the only thing that kept him going was his thoughts and memories of that summer spent with his Doll and Lily and vowed that he would one day return to Zion.

But things weren't the way he left it, things happened, circumstances changed. Raz had to grow up quickly after Dominic and Lily left due to her circumstances changing. She didn't know where or how to contact Dominic but she knew that someday he would find her again and she would have some explaining to do.

Loved this story, always keeps you guessing and surprising you at every turn. Love books where you never know how it will turn out in the end and this one was just that. Twists and turns and surprises all the time. A bit graphic and with heavy on the BDSM genre, but will keep you guessing till the end.

Twisted Fates was a 5+ star read.
Wow, I think I need a cold shower after this hot threesome and their story. Once I started I couldn't put it down.
We have Raz who grew up in an abusive home which has given her strength to take care of herself and do what she wants.

Raz has a heck of a summer when she meets Dominic and Lily. She ends up having a relationship with both of them and boy was it steamy. Lily and Dom both wanted Raz to be happy so they worked together to give her a summer she would never forget before each of them left, and boy did they give her quite a last night.

We jump ahead a few years, Lily has decided to return to Zion because she couldn't get her mind off of Raz. She gets quite the surprise when she sees her. Dominic has also decided to return and he can't wait to see Raz as well. Dom also has a surprising moment that will change his life forever.

Can the three of them get back what they had and create a future? Will they get a HEA?

I absolutely loved this book. I didn't put it down until I was done, I had to see what was coming next. We go from past to present and get 3 POV's so that we could see what they were all thinking. There are twists and turns along with some BDSM which was hot. The ending was great, I loved the jump in years. If your looking for a great read M/F and F/F read this is the book for you. I highly recommend this book.

GM delivered a story about three people who find a love that although unconventional, its beautiful. The three have the summer to enjoy their time together and that's it. Unfortunately moving on isn't as easy as they thought it would be.

Raz has so much love to give and she finds herself in love with Lilly and Dominic. She know they are both moving on with their lives after the summer so she must enjoy the time she has never expecting life to get so complicated once it was over. Lilly has tried to move on after Raz but every relationship is just lacking something and when she has to come back to town she is drawn to reconnect with Raz. Dominic had to leave to go on deployment. He's been gone for years and has been missing Raz the whole time. Once back to town he thinks about reconnecting with Raz but is finding it hard to catch her. He knows that people are hiding something but he has no idea what.

I loved the relationship these three had. I'm not usually a big fan of FFM but I loved this one. It was beautiful, now there is some D/s relationship going on so don't be surprised when you read it but they aren't into the hard core stuff so it was still so beautiful.

This is the story of the unexpected love between Raz, Dom and Lilly. The story bounces from past to present, reliving the moments between Raz and Dom, Raz and Lilly and Raz, Lilly and Dom. None of them knew that the summer that they spent together would forever change all of them and had an unplanned surprise. Raz is a complicated woman at times but she's living her life how she wants to and that includes a brief affair with a man and a woman who both left their mark on her heart and body. As the years fly by, you get glimpses into all of their lives together and apart, the choices they made and how they never truly moved on from that special summer! Interesting, angsty, hot and steamy, drama, bdsm and all the feels are in this book!

Holy smokes this book is HAWT!! This is an amazing story! The characters in this story, Raz, Dom and Liv, all have a story to tell. But those stories are connected in ways they could have never imagined. Their one summer together leaves them forever looking back in their lives - always trying to fill the void. As they each navigate life alone, they each realize what they are missing in life is each other. But as time passes, one has a secret that will forever change all their lives. When fate steps in can they all remember what brought them together in the beginning. Loved this book!❤️

Twisted Fates was one of those reads that makes you want to know every aspect and detail of the characters within it's pages lives .
Raz , Lilly and Dominic just fit perfectly together even with all their hang -ups about things working out for all three of them as a couple .They are a Hot AF Together. They made the pages sizzle and singe when they were together and Had you mad as hell and reaching for the tissues when they were apart .
I enjoyed how the author told each one of their points of view and went back in time to give us a better understanding of their pasts together .I adored Alba and loved the appearances of some beloved characters from prior books .

This was an amazing, steamy FFM story! I was so pleasantly surprised by it as this isn't usually my kind of read, but I found it totally entertaining and engaging! Raz, Dominic and Lilly were wonderful characters, and their lives apart only reinforced how much they were missing each other. I thought some of the scenes felt a little rushed and would have liked to see more detail fleshed out, but it was a really enjoyable book.

Twisted Fates is book two in the series and continues the series with the focus on Raz and her relationship with Dom and Lil. I have read all of this authors other books and expected more BDSM details and dirtier hot and steamy scenes but those things did not take away from the story line and the characters. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the constant flash backs seemed to take from the current time. This is a great book and should be read.

This author can truly write passion and heat into her characters. It isn't always what is considered pretty or normal but that doesn't make it any less real. This is not your typical love story or your typical family. No nothing about them conforms to normal but it works for them and that's what makes this story. If you want steamy well open up here you go. If you want something that isn't your typical read but will keep you invested in the characters until the end you found it.

Wow, this story sucks you into the story, and make you wonder what will happen. You can't help wanting the best for everyone.

I loved Raz, she is quirky, unique and sweet. She loves her job, and being unique. She doesn't care what anyone thinks.

I loved Dominic, he is dominant, kind hearted and caring. He has a big heart, and works hard.

I loved Lilly, she is feisty, sweet and funny. She will do anything for anyone, and help where she can.

I loved this series, and recommend it.

Family has little meaning to Raz due to a very rocky upbringing until She meets Lil and Dom. The 3 of them share something very unlikely but amazing. Each of them gaining a piece of the others heart and soul. Time and distance can't separate their thoughts of their summer together. This story isn't just any threesome or love story. It's so much more. I love how the author blends in her others series and merges the storylines. Great way to keep us reading her works!

Love the Fates Reborn series. Raz, Dominic and Lilly is a second chance FFM romance. I Love we got to see the beginning, their time apart, their reunion and their future. The only thing that I would love to see more of was Dominic and Alba interacting more together. Great story can't wait to see what GM has up her sleeve next.

What an amazing Trio Raz,Dom,Lil are.
I was hooked from the start.
There were some ups and downs which they experience but they came together like a moth to a flame!
I’m so glad Raz got away from her past so we could experience her future with her! I’m not normally one for back and forth a In books but with this story it didn’t matter to me it was that well written.

I enjoyed this story of the love life of Dom/ Raz /Lilly and the ups and downs of it. I have to say I found the constant flashbacks quite distracting and that the present day story seemed to jump on , I did like that it was from each of them a POV but found the ending a bit abrupt.
