Celebrate Marriage

Damon & Melanie Owens, married 29 years, founded Joyful Ever After in 2020 with a passion to help you get the marriage you want from the marriage you have. Since 1993, Melanie, full-time homeschooling mother of eight, and Damon, the first executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute, have trained over 20,000 couples in marriage, natural family planning, and Theology of the Body. In 2018, Pope Francis honored Damon with the papal Benemerenti Medal for his service to the Church in support of marriage and family.

Mark and Michelle Overholt are founders of One in Christ Marriage, a Catholic formation apostolate providing a new pathway for married life. Since 2010, they joyfully have formed those called to the vocation of marriage and family life. The apostolate serves Catholic priests and parishes in forming engaged and married couples based on the Church’s call for a “new catechumenate” model for marriage preparation and accompaniment during the first years of married life.

Deacon Daniel Lowery is currently serving in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He served as the president of Calumet College of St. Joseph. He holds graduate degrees in business management, public administration, and pastoral studies. Lowery is the author of “Leadership: the Wisdom of the World and the Beautitudes.” He also has published numerous articles pertaining to management, public administration, and diaconal service and ministry. He and his wife, Barbara, have been married 48 years.

Kelly Moster is a licensed massage therapist with her own studio. Kelly gives married couples a tutorial on basic massage skills in a humorous and engaging presentation. Her husband of 22 years, Eric, will be the model used for her presentation. Spouses will get to experience what it is truly like to be kneaded.

Marcy and Tom Renken, married 21 years with 6 children, are founders of Celebrate Marriage. Since 2011, Celebrate Marriage has been driven by a heartfelt mission: transforming marriages, one parish at a time. The ministry is dedicated to helping couples live their marriages by God’s design, fostering reconnection, and having fun along the way.  

Michael and Amy Kalscheur, married 27 years, have 8 children and 4 grandchildren. Michael is a financial planner and Amy is a homeschool mom. They have been instrumental in helping to carry out the mission of Celebrate Marriage since its early years.
