Browns Cut DB Corey White & DB Reggie Porter

The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve released DB Corey White and placed DB Reggie Porter on waivers.

White, 27, is a former fifth-round pick of the Saints back in 2012. He spent three years in New Orleans before he was among their final roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season.

White had brief stints with the Cardinals and Bills before the Jets signed him to a contract last March. He later caught on with the Colts but was waived with an injury settlement during the preseason and wound up sitting out the entire 2017 season.

The Browns signed him to a futures contract this past January.

In 2016, White appeared in 15 games for the Bills and recorded 30 tackles, two interceptions and four pass defenses.
